Chapter 25 - Confession

Y/Ns POV

-"Alright, Sun, the pizzaplex is gonna go into power saving mode, let go of me."

Sun frowned at me with a pleading look, but I wasn't having it. I shoved myself out of his hug, sitting up. Sun frowned at me, but I just smiled and ruffled his rays, and he heated up.

-"I do want to talk about the other night once I get back."

His rays shrunk, and he looked down, nodding. I slid down the ladder and left to change into my night shift uniform. As I was getting ready for my shift, I started thinking about what really happened. My mind blanked out a big part of it out. What were they leaning in for? What did they mean by 'strange' and, if it was the virus like I suspect, why didn't they just attack me? Too many things were going through my head. I started heading back to the daycare. When I got there, the lights were already off. I sat down at the desk and opened up my phone.

I sat there for a while, but there was no sign of Moon. I got up, calling out for him. Was he avoiding me? I saw a red light, and I looked over at it. It quickly disappeared on top of the play structure, the one that Moon had his little hideout. I shouted his name one more time to see if he would come down. He didn't, so I started climbing the play structure. Once I made it to the top, I pulled myself up, seeing Moon just staring at the ceiling on his blanket. I walked over to him, and he didn't seem to notice me. I grabbed his shoulders just in case he ran.

-"Are you avoiding me?"

He jumped, turning to face me. He tried to back up, but I held a firm grip on his shoulder.

-"I guessed so."

I let go of him, and he backed up away from me. I sighed, walking to the edge of the play structure, starting to climb down.

-"Wait-"

I paused, looking back at Moon. He reached his hand out towards me.

-"Come back."

I looked down, getting back to the top and walking over to him, I avoided eye contact. He grabbed my arm, pulling me down into his lap.

-".. Yes.. I 𝘸𝘢𝘴 avoiding you. Me and Sun are just.. Scared."

-"Of what?"

-"Of having to talk about what happened.."

I sighed, what were they hiding from me?

-".. We can talk about it now, if you want.."

I nodded, thinking of what to say.

-"What made you act like that?"

Moon seemed to think about it for a second.

-"Well, when me and Sun saw your resignation letter, we kept thinking about how you were going to leave us and.. We lost control over our movements."

-"So it was the virus?"

-"Yes."

-"If it was the virus, why didn't you just kill me?"

He paused.

-".. It does more than make us hostile, it.. Makes us act out on how we feel to extreme measures."

That raises a lot of questions.

-"Why did you keep leaning in towards my face?"

He froze up, not moving at all. He took a deep breath.

-"Y/N. We like you. We really like you."

-"I like you guys too."

-"No- I mean, we 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 you, romantically. Y/N, your the reason we get that strange feeling in our chest."

Now it was my turn to freeze up. I looked at Moon with wide eyes.

-"You don't feel the same.. We were leaning in cause we wanted to- MMF!"

I grabbed his face and kissed him, on the lips. He stared at me with wide eyes for a second, heating up profusely, then he finally kissed me back. I started to pull away, but then he put his hand on the back of my head, pulling me back into the kiss, heating up even more. After a minute, he finally let go of me to let me breathe. We both just kind of sat there, looking at each other with wide eyes. What are you supposed to do after kissing someone? This is so awkward.

-"You.. Do feel the same?"

I smiled at him, nodding. He smiled wide, which was a weird site to see, and his eyes started welling with tears. He grabbed my face and started planting small kisses all over it. I laughed, pushing him, but not really putting any effort into it.

-"Moon- stop it!"

It was not until he had landed too many kisses for me to count did he stop. Once he stopped, he pulled me into a tight hug. I hugged him back. He was.. Crying?  I looked up at him, he was smiling, but his chest was heaving as he cried.

-"Moon? Are you crying?"

-"Happy tears, Starlight, happy tears.."

I laughed, patting his head. This entire situation felt like a weight was lifted off my chest.

-"If this is a dream, I never want to wake up from it."

-"Agreed."

He pulled me closer to him, gently kissing my head, trying to avoid where I was hit. He laughed a bit.

-"What?"

-"Nothin'.. Suns just being a jealous little baby."

I yawned, I guess my body was using all of its energy to heal my head. Moon instantly noticed my yawn, picking me up bridal-style and walking back over to the blanket. He sat back down, but layed on his side, holding me close. I turned around, putting my forehead against his chest, and he heated up a lot more.

-"Y/N?"

-"Yeah?"

-"Does this mean we're.. dating?"

I paused. I never thought about that. What would the other employees think of me? Would I be fired for having a relationship with a Fazbear Entertainment animatronic?

-"I.. I don't know yet, I need time to think."

Moon frowned, but nodded understandingly. I yawned again, and he held me closer, starting to hum calmly. I started drifting back off to sleep, and when the song finally finished, I felt him lean his head down and plant another soft kiss on my head. I smiled, I never wanted this moment to end, but, I started drifting off the sleep.
