Chapter 22 - Hide & Fear

I didn't have enough room on chapter 21 to continue my plans if I wanted to average at my 1000-1300 words, so Im getting right to work on chapter 22

Y/Ns POV

I woke up back in Sun and Moons room, you guessed it, on the bed. My head pain hit me like a brick. I held my head, taking a sharp breath in through gritted teeth. I felt bandages when I touched my head, so at least I wasnt still bleeding, I hope. A hand took my arm and pulled it away from my head.

-"Hey, don't touch it."

No doubt that was Moon, the lights were off and I couldn't mistake that voice to be anyone else's. I sat up, leaning against the wall.

-"What.. Happened?"

-"You got distracted yelling back at Sun and hit your head on a metal beam on the play structure, like an idiot."

How stupid do I have to be, I let out a disappointed sigh, disappointed at myself. I got up, going to the balcony.

-"What are you doing?"

-"I gotta throw my dirty uniforms in the wash in the basement."

Moon nodded, taking me down to the ground. I grabbed my bag and walked towards the door, but when I grabbed the knob, I stopped, looking back at Moon. He had his arms crossed, and raised an eyebrow at me.

-"Can you come with me?"

-"What?"

-".. I don't want to go there alone after.. What happened.."

He sighed.

-"Alright let's go."

We walked down to the basement, the lights were extremely dim because the pizzaplex went into power saving mode after 1 AM. I put my dirty uniforms in the wash, turning around to find no trace of Moon.

-"Moon?"

No response. I walked to the middle of the room, looking around.

-"Moon, where did you go?"

I started getting scared, what if the white rabbit came back? I'd be all alone and defenseless, and I have a head injury, she could kill me with no effort.

-"Moon please.."

My voice shook, and suddenly I felt a hand aggressively grab my shoulder from behind. I screamed at the top of my lungs, running towards the wall, turning to face.. Moon. He was smiling evily. I ran up and shoved him, but be barely moved.

-"You shithead!"

My tone was not joking, it was angry. Moon shrugged.

-"Couldn't help myself."

His tone was much more chill. I went past him and leaned against the washing machine. I glared at him, crossing my arms.

-"Cmon, you aren't that pressed about a joke, are ya?"

-"It wasn't funny."

-"It was a 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 funny."

-"No it wasnt!"

I stormed up to him.

-"Do you know how fucking scary it was when you weren't there, and I was alone in here?!"

Every word I poked his chest, he got more angry at my tone.

-"You're so fucking insensiti-! "

He grabbed my throat tightly, choking me. His eyes were purple and filled with rage. He lifted me up by my neck. I kicked my legs and coughed. I managed to swing my arm to hit his face. His head went spinning, and he let go of me to stop it, shouting in anger and surprise. I didn't pause to catch my breath, every second counted. I booked it out the door.
