Friday had finally come, but Y/N was very conflicted about it. She usually loved Fridays. You no longer have to go to school and most of the time she had fun things to do; maybe go to a party, go on a road trip, or anything that didn't involve school.
The girl didn't have classes after lunch on Fridays, so she was very happy about that, but Fridays meant she had to go to therapy, and she was definitely not excited about it.
"Why don't we chill in my room? We could watch a movie or something." Asked Yuna while the trio stopped outside her door.
"Sorry, I need to get ready, I'm going out." Y/N declined, although she liked that plan better than hers.
"Where are you going?" Asked Jennifer.
"Therapy."
"Oh."
"My dad thinks I need it or whatever." The teenager rolled her eyes.
"Well, sucks for you," Yuna commented. "You coming, Jen?"
"Sure."
"You look tense." Doctor Park said with amusement.
Y/N rolled her eyes. She was sitting on a sofa right in front of the young psychologist. The room was big, big enough to not make them feel like they were talking face to face; the teenager was thankful for it, or else it would've been really awkward.
"Well, this feels like a job interview."
"You've been on a job interview before?"
"Yes, I have" Y/N replied annoyed. "Or do you think I have never worked because my family has money?"
She's been accused of that before.
"It was just a question. I actually didn't know that you come from a wealthy family." Sandara looked up at Y/N and sighed, knowing they weren't starting well. "Look, miss Y/LN, I'm not here to judge you or something like that. I'm actually here to help you, with whatever problem you have, or maybe to hear about things that you feel you can't talk about with anyone, okay?"
"Okay." Replied the American after a while.
Maybe she was too salty about the situation.
"So, let's start with some basic things. How long you've been in Korea?"
"Like a week."
"Oh." The doctor replied, surprised. "How are you liking it so far?"
"I'd like it much more if I didn't have to be in a boarding school for the whole year. I'm a senior, I'm supposed to be out there having fun"
"Well, just because you're in a boarding school doesn't mean you can't have fun."
"Sure." Replied Y/N sarcastically.
"So why did you move here?" Unlike what the teenager has seen in the movies, Sandara was typing on her laptop and not on a notepad.
"My father thought it would be a good way to punish me."
"Punish you why?" She seemed interested in that topic.
"He said he's had enough of me being reckless." Y/N scoffed. "He's not even in the same city most of the time, I don't know why he cares."
"What about your mom?"
Y/N let out a dry laugh at that question.
"I don't have one."
