Puppy

"Fuck." Y/N cursed under her breath. 

She has just failed her second algebra test, and even though she did not care much about it, the girl was certain that Kazuha and coach Yoon would kill her. Anyone who didn't get B or higher grades in every subject had to be suspended from the team. 

"I told you to study this time," Jennifer said from her left. 

"I was going to last Friday, but then I got distracted." The girl murmured while images of her and Wounyoung making out crossed her head. 

"Hey, how did it go?" Minji walked up to them while everyone else left the room to have lunch. 

"I got a D again," Y/N said casually. 

"Maybe you can get her to study." Yuna got up, grabbing her things. "She won't listen to us." 

"Guys, come on. Don't leave, she'll kill me. And Hussey, you got a C, don't judge me!"

Y/N begged her friends, but they left the room anyway.

"I literally told you everything that you needed to study." Minji crossed her arms over her chest. 

"Sorry?" 

The Korean just shook her head and turned around to make her way out of the classroom. 

"Wait!" Y/N quickly got up, trying to catch up with the girl. "Can you help me study? Actually, I really want to be on the team, and I won't be able to study alone. So, please? I promise I'll try this time." 

"Okay, but you need to take this seriously because I actually don't have that much free time, so don't make me waste it." Minji stopped in the middle of the room and pointed her finger at the teenager. 

"As I said, I promise," Y/N said while nodding her head. "Just tell me when you can and where." 

"Fine. I'll text you later about it." 

"You're the best!" Screamed the American while she launched herself to hug Minji. 

"Okay, okay. Too much." The president laughed while pushing the other girl away. 

On Saturday, Y/N was walking through the forest behind the school at exactly 12 P.M. She had found the farm Minji mentioned a few times and thought it'd be nice to buy some tomatoes for her since the girl was always putting up with her things and was now her algebra teacher. That was no easy task, Y/N knew.

The place was actually really close to the school, and it was even closer to you when through the forest instead of the main road. She was actually not supposed to be there, the school always warned students about the possibility of getting lost, but that wasn't going to stop her. In fact, she loved the adrenaline of the danger. Not that there was any danger. 

Maybe there is. The girl thought after hearing something like a cry coming from behind her.

"Check it out or leave?" She asked herself. "Check it out, of course." 

The girl started walking quietly to where the noises were coming from and when she turned around some bushes, she found something she was not expecting.  

"Oh, my god. Are you okay?" 

In front of her was a puppy, probably a few weeks older. It was skinny and clearly was cold and afraid.
