Y/N and their two best friends, Yuna and Yunjin, found themselves in the classroom during a break between classes. Y/N's gaze drifted towards Minji, who was sitting in her usual spot at the front of the classroom, engrossed in her book.
Hussey leaned towards Y/N, her voice filled with concern. "Is she still not talking to you?"
Y/N sighed, their gaze fixed on Minji. "No, she hasn't said a word to me. It's been two days."
Yunjin frowned, trying to understand the situation. "I don't get why she's taking it so seriously. It's just a dog, right?"
"Exactly! I just don't get it," Y/N confessed, her voice tinged with frustration. "I mean, I understand that Minji values honesty, but I didn't think this would lead to such a long silence between us."
"Well, you did lie to her," Yuna remarked. Y/N shot her a slightly annoyed glance, not appreciating the reminder of their mistake.
Yunjin chimed in to ease the tension. "Let's try to focus on finding a solution rather than dwelling on what went wrong. Y/N, what do you have in mind?"
Y/N's expression shifted from annoyance to a mischievous smirk. "Don't worry, I know how to make her talk to me," they replied confidently, their eyes glinting with determination.
The next morning, Minji couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. Her confusion only deepened when Hussey approached her with a wide smile and casually mentioned, "Oh, by the way, the door is unlocked." Without providing any further explanation, Hussey swiftly walked away, leaving Minji puzzled and even more intrigued.
As the day progressed, Minji noticed Y/N's absence during the first class. Assuming that the American was running late, she didn't think much of it. However, as the second class came to an end, she realized that Y/N was still nowhere to be seen.
She had skipped class. She was really trying to get on her nerves, apparently.
After the final bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, the president made her way to Y/N's room. She knocked on the door, but there was no response. Remembering Yuna's earlier words, "The door is unlocked," a sense of realization washed over her. The girl had planned it.
"Keep calm, Minji," the Korean whispered to herself as she entered the room. When she closed the door behind her and turned around, the image in front of her was not what she expected. Y/N was lying on her bed, her face serene, and Tokki snuggled on her chest. Both of them seemed to be fast asleep.
Minji couldn't help but soften at the sight. Despite her frustration, she couldn't deny the love and affection Y/N had for the dog, and the thought of the American rescuing the puppy touched her heart.
The Korean couldn't help herself and decided to capture the precious moment with her phone. She carefully positioned herself to get the best angle, wanting to preserve this adorable scene. Just as she pressed the shutter button, however, her phone emitted an unexpected sound, causing Tokki to stir from his slumber.
Startled by the sudden noise, Tokki's ears perked up, and he let out a series of sharp barks in Minji's direction. The unexpected interruption startled Y/N awake as well, and she groggily looked around, trying to make sense of the commotion.
When Y/N saw Minji standing in front of her, she sat up on her bed and held Tokki even closer to her body, sensing the dog's agitation. "Shh, Tokki. It's okay. Don't bark, Minji is not a stranger," Y/N reassured him in a soothing tone, stroking his fur gently.
