Y/N and Minji were sprawled out on Y/N's bed, with Y/N lying on her back, her head resting gently on the pillow. Minji, on the other hand, had her head nestled atop the American's stomach, her gaze fixed on the ceiling. Together, they relished the soothing symphony of the rain pouring outside.
"So, do you remember when I said you'd be the first to know what I want to study?" Y/N whispered softly, her fingers delicately twirling strands of Minji's hair.
"Yeah," Minji replied, her eyes filled with curiosity. "Have you made up your mind?"
Y/N met Minji's gaze, her thoughts drifting to Tokki, who was peacefully slumbering in his bed. "Yes," Y/N replied, taking a moment to savor the moment. "I think I want to go to vet school."
"No way! Seriously?" Minji shifted to the side, adjusting her position to get a better look at Y/N's face. "That's incredible!"
"Thanks," Y/N responded, a warm smile spreading across her face. Minji's genuine enthusiasm was like a ray of sunshine. In the depths of her mind, Y/N occasionally harbored doubts about her worthiness for college, but Minji's unwavering support made those doubts fade into the background, filling her with immense happiness. It was a feeling that expanded through her heart, enveloping her in warmth and reassurance.
"Do you know which schools you're applying to?" Minji inquired.
Y/N considered for a moment. "Not yet," she replied. "But I'd like to attend a school with a strong soccer team, so I can keep playing."
"That's a good idea, babe," Minji complimented.
"Babe, huh?" Y/N responded playfully, leaning in to plant a kiss on Minji's lips. "I... I-I want ice cream. Do you want ice cream?" She abruptly changed the subject, realizing she was about to say something she wasn't quite prepared for.
Minji looked a bit taken aback. "Okay? You're weird," she remarked.
"I'm not," she defended herself. "Haerin is."
"Yes, she is," Minji agreed, nodding. "Kang Haerin is weird."
Y/N, Hussey, and Jennifer engaged in a lively conversation with the cheer squad amidst the vibrant atmosphere of Wonyoung's party. Laughter and music filled the air as they enjoyed the company and the pulsating energy of the gathering.
Their animated chatter came to a pause when they noticed the school's president and her friends making their grand entrance. As soon as Y/N caught sight of them, she instinctively raised her hand to catch their attention, signaling for them to join their group.
The party itself was an intimate affair, with a relatively small guest list consisting mainly of the cheerleading team and precisely five boys, who happened to be Wonyoung's close-knit circle of friends. When asked about the limited male guest list, Wonyoung had explained with a grin, "I don't want any pricks in my house."
"Hey," Y/N greeted Minji with a sweet peck on the lips. "Thirsty? Non-alcoholic or something stronger?"
"I'll take a beer. I want to see what all the fuss is about," Minji replied, her curiosity piqued.
Hanni chimed in with a faux hurt tone, "Hey, what about me? I want a beer too!"
Y/N rolled her eyes playfully. "Alright, two beers coming right up," she said as she headed toward the kitchen.
Haerin, seizing the opportunity, asked, "Can I have a beer too?"
Hanni and Minji exchanged a look before responding in unison, "No."
