Chapter 5

Alex pov

After a couple of days of driving, we finally made it to the street me and Lucinda will be living on. It's an average street. Some of the houses had started to set up for Christmas. Lucinda was looking at the window of our car to see which house I picked for us and even tried to guess a few.

Lucinda: Come on, babe, are we at least getting close?

Alex: We are.  Just be patient.

Lucinda: I have been through this entire trip.

I couldn't blame her. I want out of the car myself until I finally see our house.

Alex: We're here.

The house was a simple one story house large enough for a small family normal front yard. I even asked for a basement so me and Lucinda could have a magic workshop.

Lucinda: Oh my Irine babe, I love it! * squealing in joy*

Alex: Glad you liked it. Finding a house with a large enough basement was certainly a task.

Lucinda: Hey, we're finally here, and my friends are just down the street. I can't thank you enough.

Alex: No problem, and I'm looking forward to meeting your friends.

We parked in front of the house next to the curb and followed up by the movers. We got out of the car and talked to the movers and told them where our stuff should be placed but made sure that our magical equipment went in the basement first. While the movers were doing their job me and Lucinda went down the street and saw the houses that Lucinda mentioned.

Lucinda: Ok, don't be nervous, they are very sweet people.

Alex: I trust you, babe. So, who's house should we start with first?

Lucinda: Well, it doesn't really matter to me either way. I get to see my friends again.

Alex: Alright then, we will start with Dante, Laurence, and Garroth.

Lucinda: * giggles * Good start.

So we walked to the house on our left, and I knocked at the door and inside. we heard yelling coming from inside.

???: Garroth, how many times have you told me those chips are mine!

Lucinda: That's Dante.

???Well, I didn't see your name on them!

Lucinda: That's Garroth.

I tried knocking again until the door opened, and there stood a man with brown hair and blue eyes wearing a green sweater and blue jeans with brown shoes, and I have to guess this has to be Laurence.

Laurence: Yes, can I help you?

Lucinda: Hello Laurence, how have you been still after Aphmau? I see. * giggles *

Laurence: Lucinda?! * shocked *

Lucinda: Yep, I'm back and not alone.

Alex: HI, I'm Alex. * reaching my hand out *

Laurence: Oh hi, I'm Laurence * grabbing my hand and shaking it* So Lucinda, who exactly is this?

Lucinda: This is my boyfriend.

Laurence: Boyfriend?! For real?! What happened to Ivan?

Lucinda: Things didn't work out between us.

Laurence: Oh… sorry I shouldn't have…

Lucinda: No, it's alright. If it wasn't for what happened, I wouldn't have met Alex.

Alex: And I was lucky enough to meet such a beautiful witch.

Lucinda: Oh you.

Laurence: Please stop, or you'll give me cavities. * being sarcastic *

Lucinda: Ok, are Dante and Garroth busy?

Laurence: We are watching some Netflix, but I'll go get them. * shuts the door *

Alex: Well, he was nice.

Lucinda: Yeah, he is just be prepared for the other two.

When she said that, the door opened again, revealing Laurence and two others. On the right, there is a man with blonde hair, blue eyes wearing dark blue coat and jeans, and he looks to have a build of a jock. On the left was a man with blue hair wearing a white shirt with a red jacket over it and blue pants.

Dante: Seriously, Laurence, what is…

Lucinda: Hello Dante, Garroth.

Dante: Lucinda?!

Garroth: Oh Lucinda, how are you?!

Lucinda: I'm alright. I just moved here.

Dante: What moved you here?!

Lucinda: Yep, and I like my boyfriend to meet you guys.

Alex: HI, I'm Alex, and Lucinda has told me a lot about you guys.

Garroth: Oh, hi, nice to have you guys move here.

Dante: Oh, so Lucinda told you about us , uh good things, I hope.

I remember all the things Lucinda said before they seem nice. It's just that they seem a little much.

Alex: Sure, why not.

Laurence: So how long are you staying?

Alex: We planned a permanent stay here.

Dante: That's great.

Alex : Yeah, and you were our first stop. We are about to go over to Aphmau's.

Garroth: Aphmau?! * excited *

Laurence: Aphmau?!

Dante: You said Aphmau!

Lucinda: Oh no, here we go.

Dante: If you want we can go with her house.

Laurence: Yeah, we can tag along.

Garroth: Yeah, we can be like your escorts.

When Lucinda told me how they like Aphmau, she wasn't kidding, especially how they wanted to come with us.

Lucinda: No, boys, it's fine. me and Alex will be fine.

Dante: But…

Lucinda: Do you want Katelyn to hurt you?

The Guys conceded we said our byes to them and made our way across the street to the house of Aphmau, Katelyn, and Kawaii~chan.
