Alex pov

Me and Lucinda went up to Kawaii~chan's unconscious body and told everyone to back up to give her room to breathe.

Alex: Kawaii~chan! Are you alright!

I used my right hand and started lightly tapping her left cheek.

Kawaii~chan: * opening her eyes * Huh? What?

Lucinda: Girl, are you okay? * helping Kawaii~chan on her feet*

Kawaii~chan: Wait, was that just just a dream in a dream?

Before me and Lucinda could question her , Katelyn punched Kawaii~chan on the shoulder.

Kawaii~chan: Ouch!

Alex and Lucinda: Katelyn!!!

Katelyn: Just showing her everything is real.

Kawaii: Does that mean Reese~senpai hasn't…* turned her head towards the dining room." Oh no.

Alex: What are you talking about?

Me and Lucinda turned to see what she was looking at, and our eyes widened and realized why she was screaming no. There under a mistletoe was Reese kiss a Meif'wa girl with purple hair,green eyes black ears and tail and tan skin and wearing an off the shoulder shirt, with a black and gray ombre, with purple jeans, once again having an ombre of all different shades of dark purple, with gray boots.

Lucinda: Oh Kawaii~chan, we're so sorry.

Kawaii~chan: * begins to tear up* Kawaii~chan doesn't like Michi~chan. Waaaaah!!!!

Aphmau: * Was coming down the stairs * What's going on? Why is everyone in the foyer?

Katelyn: Oh, nothing, just hosting the party.

Aphmau: Oh good…well Katelyn I'm glad you finally came around.

Katelyn started to panic slightly and rushed up the stairs. Unfortunately, what awaited her was a locked door.

Katelyn: My room! Is it locked?!

Aphmau chuckled, pleased that Katelyn had no choice but to stay downstairs, then noticed Kawaii~chan now on the floor crying.

Aphmau: Why is Kawaii~chan crying on the floor?

Alex: She missed her opportunity with Reese while he was kissing some other Meif'wa named Michi.

Kawaii: * her cries continued * Reese~senpai!!!

Aphmau: Oh no. Look, KC, why don't you go sit on the couch and relax.

Kawaii~chan nodded her head and placed herself on the couch. She noticed Cadenza and was about to greet her until she noticed the door missing.

Aphmau: Our door!

Cadenza: Yeah…it just broke suddenly.

Garroth: Yeah, I know what you mean that happens to me a lot.

Dante: I still hate you, Garroth! * walking to the kitchen*

Garroth: Stick and stones Dante. I'm stronger than that.

I moved closer to lucinda.

Alex: * whispered * I thought Garroth was the only one who broke doors.

Lucinda: * whispered back* Garroth is the only one who breaks doors frequently.

Alex: Oh, I see.

Cadenza: Oh, by the way, Aphmau, I made some desserts I made. I showed a box and opened it. Cupcakes with extra Sprinkles.

Garroth: * let out a loud sob* Sprinkles!!!!!

Alex: Oh, he's still not over the cat.

Lucinda: Yeah… it looks like it.

Aphmau: Great, we can use some more sweets. Just put them in the kitchen.

Cadenza: Great and Lucinda, why don't you and Alex come with me? I want to know what's been going on.

Lucinda: Great idea, and now Alex can meet you personally.

We followed Cadenza to the kitchen and started to catch up with her.

Alex: It's great to finally meet the one who helped us find this neighborhood.

Cadenza: Oh no problem. How is everything going for the two of you?

Lucinda: We finally opened our store. It's a slow start, but we'll be picking up more customers in later months.

Cadenza: That's wonderful. I might just come over and look around.

Alex: Of course, we have  a mass variety of runes that you could need.

My stomach growled loudly, causing both Lucinda and Cadenza to stare at me with smiles on their faces as my face heated up.

Lucinda: * giggled * I'll go get us some plates for us while you and Cadenza chat.

Cadenza: Can you be a dear and bring me a plate as well?

Lucinda: Sure thing.

Lucinda went to get us something to eat, leaving us alone. I remember seeing pictures of Cadenza before. She has pale skin, pale blue eyes, long red hair with a yellow gradient, and is wearing a white, green, and red sweater with blue shorts and light brown boots. I was about to ask her something important. However, Cadenza beat me to it.

Cadenza: Now that Lucinda is away, I want to know what you two have been “up to”.

When she put emphasis on “up to” I felt like I was about to be interrogated.

Alex: E-excuse me?

Cadenza: I've been curious about what you two have been doing since you two started dating, and I want every detail. * moved closer to me*

She's certainly a forward woman and me and Lucinda and I had nothing to hide, especially with one of Lucinda's friends, so i told her everything that happened with us aside from Aphmau's Christmas curse.

Cadenza: I see. I was hoping for something more juicy. But I'm glad the two of you are alright, and you must be excited for your first Christmas together!

Alex: Oh…uh yeah right actually we may be too busy on Christmas Eve to enjoy it.

Cadenza: What could possibly keep you two busy from having a romantic Christmas eve?!

Alex: * sighed * Both of our parents are coming over.

Cadenza: Oh…oh my that is serious.

Alex: Yeah, and Lucinda has been nervous about her mother coming over, and I can't blame her…I am too. This is why I want to ask if you have any advice for me when I meet her.

Cadenza started thinking hard about mine and Lucinda's problem. But unfortunately.

Cadenza: Sorry, dear, not much I can think of.

Alex: * sighed * Great. So I'm going in blind then.

Cadenza: Well…if it makes you feel any better…Lucinda's mother never liked Ivan from the beginning. * smiled* She warned Lucinda to be careful with someone like Ivan.

Alex: I'm guessing she didn't listen.

Cadenza: Yep, what can you do? She was young, stupid, and in love. But luckily for you, her mother hasn't met you yet, and who knows, everything might work out for the two of you.

I gave her words some thought until Lucinda returned with our plates filled with plenty of holiday snacks and handed them to us.

Lucinda: Here you go, sorry for the wait.

Alex: It's ok, Lucy.

Cadenza: No problem at all. I was just reminding Alex to take good care of you.

Lucinda moved to my right side and cuddled up to me.

Lucinda: * giggled * Don't worry, he has been a perfect gentleman.

I smiled even though the two of us were nervous about meeting our families on Christmas Eve. At least we had each other going through it all.
