Alex pov

We grabbed our essentials like our phones, staves, and wallets and followed Aphmau and Kawaii~chan to the mall as they filled us in on what was going on. So apparently Kawaii~chan has fallen in love with a pizza guy named Reese and when Kawaii~chan met him she gave the poor guy a sleep enchanted cookie which raised a lot of mine and Lucinda's red flags but Aphmau assured us nothing extreme happened Reese was simply knocked out and was soon woken up without issue. The reason why both of them are out today is due to a deal. Aphmau agreed to help Kawaii~chan with looking for a present for Reese only if Kawaii~chan agrees to talk to Reese within the month and give him his gift personally.

Aphmau: And that's it now the two of you are caught up.

Alex: Ok, but why come to us?

Kawaii~chan: * giggles * Silly Alex~kun Kawaii~chan needs consultants!

Lucinda: Ok, tell us about Reese. What's he like?

Kawaii~chan: Dreamy~.

Lucinda: Well, that didn't help.

Aphmau: First, let me tell you he is pink, and I don't mean a pink complexion.

Alex: What do you mean?

She showed us a picture of Reese, and we were both surprised.

Lucinda: Oh my Irene, his skin is pink.

Alex: Lucinda, that's not just pink. That's bubble gum pink.

We both looked to Aphmau for answers, but the only thing she knew was that he was a prince from another dimension, which she believes is crazy…though it's not completely impossible where magic is any concern. Kawaii~chan only sighed dreamily as we finally reached the mall and entered inside.

Kawaii~chan: I knew he was royalty the moment I laid eyes on him.

Aphmau: Mother of Irene.

Lucinda: Wow.

Aphmau: I know.

Seeing how stressed Aphmau was, I decided to help.

Alex: Ok Kawaii~chan, what was your first idea for a Christmas present for Reese?

Kawaii~chan: Kawaii~chan was thinking…boxers?

The three of us stared at Kawaii~chan for a moment until Aphmau spoke.

Aphmau: Uh, Kawaii~chan, that's really creepy.

Kawaii~chan blushed as she tried to explain herself.

Kawaii ~chan: See, this is why Kawaii~chan needs help! She doesn't know what guys like, and she comes off as creepy!

Lucinda: Ok, calm down, Kawaii ~chan. Why not just get him a gift card? I'm sure he'd be ok with that.

Kawaii~chan: No! That's too, not personal! I want something special.

Aphmau: Oh boy.

Lucinda: Alex, what do you think?

Alex: Well…in situations like this, especially when putting your own feelings in a present. It's either go big or go home.

Kawaii~chan: Well then, let's go! * rushing ahead *

Aphmau: Kawaii~chan! Wait for us!

We followed her into the mall. The mall was huge and surprisingly mostly vacant which saved us the trouble of waiting in long lines but before we could go to any of the stores Kawaii~chan was about to buy ten remotes from a kiosk vendor but we luckily stopped her before losing all her money. When Kawaii~chan asked why we stopped her Aphmau tried to explain that Kawaii~chan has a hard time saying no to people which led to a Yes and no questioning that practically hurt our heads and when Aphmau gave examples Kawaii~chan got upset.
