6 - I Made You Look

Aliya 

Aliya was leaving for the US when her mom had a call from the hospital because of an emergency. Her mom is on leave that day, so when the morning came and went quietly, they thought it'll last the whole day. But that was not the case when the call came an hour before they were supposed to go to the airport.

Taehyung went to their place and drove her to the airport instead. Yuna had to attend a meeting at their family's company, which her mother insisted she should attend. Jimin and Jungkook said they'll try to catch her at the airport. She felt sad that she was leaving again, and her best friend did his best to cheer her up.

After she checks in, the two of them stood not too far from the doors where only departing passengers were allowed.

"Well, I'll see you when you get back." He tells her.

Aliya was teary-eyed, but she tried her best not to make it obvious. She knows he'll tease her for that. It didn't escape his eyes though, so he hugs her tight explaining that the days go fast.

"You said you'll come and visit me." Aliya tells him.

"I will try, but no promises." He replies to her as he continues to hold her. 

"Why I ever agreed to study abroad when all of you are here is beyond me." She sniffs.

Taehyung pulls her back and sees the tears that dropped from her eyes. He wipes it off with his fingers. "Hey, this is what you wanted ever since remember?"

"I know. Leaving is just too hard." She answers back with another sniff.

"I'll call you every day just like before. One year passed quickly now you only have three years to go." Taehyung tells her. " And no more keeping secrets about the boys you are dating too." 

He knows he succeeded in diverting her mind from being sad because she chuckles at his words. "I'm entitled to my own secrets."

"Of course, you are. But tell me anyway, I need to know if they're up to no good." He answers. 

"Yes sir. " Aliya replies with a salute making her best friend laugh at her. She hugs him again.

"I don't think those two are coming anymore. I got to go." Taehyung leans down to give her a peck on her lips. When he pulled back, she made a face at him.

"What?" He asks with a scowl.

"Maybe we should stop doing that. It's starting to feel weird." Aliya replies.

"Weird? How?" He paused before he continues. "Are you getting turned on?" He starts laughing when she pushed him away and hit his arm over and over until he asks her to stop. 

"I was just joking." 

"It's not a funny joke. How can you even say that, like eeww." Aliya's face was pink as she suddenly felt too self-conscious. It's not that she got turned on, it just made her feel aware of other things. Kissing her best friend before was an innocent gesture. But now, after she's experienced and explored more about kissing and what it can lead to after, she is suddenly uncomfortable. Like she suddenly realized how soft her best friend's lips were. She didn't even want to entertain the other things that were coming inside her head.

Taehyung laughed at her and hooked her head in his arm. "Eeww, really? You have no idea what the girls say after I kiss them."

"Oh please, spare me the gross details." Aliya replies and she yelps when her response made his hold on her tighter. She noticed people throwing a look at them. Taehyung's phone rang so he had to let her go. It's Jimin asking where they were.
