Yuna stares back at him with wide eyes. Did she just hear him right? She asks herself. Jin, the prince she's been dreaming of for many years now, wants her to be his? She must've done something good in her past life to be rewarded with this great favor.

"So are you just going to stare at me or are you going to give me an answer." Jin asks her.

Yuna starts to blink her eyes.

"I uh, are you sure you're asking me that question?"

Jins' lips turned up in amusement.

"Yes I am, you sound like you don't believe me." He replies.

"But it seems to happen quite fast? Like, why do you even like me? You've liked other women before and I was just around you the whole time but you never even seem to notice me." Yuna said speaking out the thoughts in her head.

"Oh I noticed you, right from that first moment I met you. But the thing is, you never seemed interested in me. I'm used to women doing the first move to show that they like me. In a way, I guess I don't want my pride to get injured when I make a move on someone who will not like me back. But I am taking that risk with you. There's something about you that drew me close to you." Jin explains to her.

When they first met, Jin felt attracted to her. She's different from the women he usually like. Her clothes were simple and yet classy, she wears very little makeup but her natural beauty is enticing plus he finds her shyness cute and appealing.

When she mentioned that he looks familiar, he got worried for a second that they'd met before and he was worried that he might have left a negative impression on her. He's relieved to learn that she's never met him before. The first time he danced with her, he was waiting for her to show signs that she likes him but she refused to look at him, she looks uninterested in him which was disheartening. He meant it when he told her he felt a bit insulted.

He really prefers it when a girl would show a hint of liking him. Not too much but just enough to guarantee him that he could make his move. It might sound egotistical but he doesn't want to get rejected. He finds Yuna very hard to read. There'd be times she seems to like him but then the next minute, she looks not interested in him at all.

When he saw Irene, he was shocked at how much she has changed and he really got attracted to her. He had no intentions of going after her, he'd rather stay with Yuna's side. But she's the one who insisted to go after Irene and that made him feel that she didn't like him at all. When he comes back and found  her dancing with someone else, his ego was hurt. His friends got him when they teased him about it. So he decided to focus on Irene who had shown her interest in him.

Their relationship went well, Irene is nice and fun to be with. She's not the clingy type and he felt himself liking her a lot. That's why their relationship went on for a long time. The only problem was, he only liked her a lot but he didn't love her. He was thinking that it was something that will develop later on but it never did.

That night when he saw Yuna change from the simple, shy, and pretty girl to the gorgeous, sophisticated, confident woman, he just couldn't get her out of his mind. He tried very hard to push that thought away for the sake of Irene, who is just the perfect girlfriend. He couldn't bring himself to break her heart.

Whenever Jin gets to have a conversation with Yuna, he finds himself engrossed in it because she's very articulate. She has no pretensions at all too.  He never heard any of his friends mention that she was dating anyone. All he hears is that she'd busy with their family business which is why he sees her less.

When Irene had to leave the country for work, it drew their feelings for each other farther apart. He felt sad because he knew their relationship was ending anytime soon and when it did, he missed Irene's company. They still talked as often as they can because Irene wanted to keep their friendship.
