31 - The Launch

It was said to be the grandest product launch of the year. The company had chosen a popular idol female group to be the face of Sensational Beauty and it drew added attention to it. People from the media covered the event as every invited guest arrived, they oohhed and ahhed as they strutted onto the red carpet. 

Jin picked up Yuna from her mother's place. Ji-Woo insisted that she gets ready there as there were also some media invited to take their photos. Mother and daughter wore an elegant dress from a local designer who had broken into the international scene. Ji-Won was wearing an emerald green venus styled gown while Yuna had an off-shouldered light pink gown which emphasized her slender figure and long legs.

Jin was speechless when he first saw her. He could only stare at her in awe at how magnificent she looked. Yuna started to get concerned when he just stood there gawking at her.

"What? Is there something wrong? Is my make-up too much? I told them it's a bit more than what I'm comfortable with." She starts to walk away but he held on to her hand.

"There's nothing wrong with it Yuna, I am just stunned on how beautiful you are. I swear my heart stopped beating for a couple of seconds." Jin tells her.

Yuna chuckles.

"Oh stop. You would've collapsed if your heart stopped beating."

"Then you'd have to resuscitate me then. Anything just to have an excuse why I can have your lips on mine right now." He whispers as he says this just in case someone was around. They were in a family room where there were no  media or her mother's staff. 

  "We'll have time for that later." Yuna paused when her phone buzzed. She lets out an excited squeak. "It's confirmed, Sirius, the popular boy group, will be coming. Aliya's going to freak out." Yuna rapidly started texting her friend to deliver the news.

He scowls in response.

"You're that excited to meet them when your boyfriend is WWH?" He tells her.

"There is no denying you are WWH, but this is different. Aliya and I have been a fan since they debuted and this is me being a fan girl, I've mentioned this to you many times. My house even has a special shelf for their album, you know that. Just give me this moment, please. You also know my heart still belongs to you no matter what." Yuna leaned against him as she placed her arms around his neck. 

Jin looked around to see if there was anyone around before he wrapped his arms around her waist giving her a quick kiss on her neck. 

"I would've kissed your lips but I don't want to mess up your lipstick." Jin gently taps her chin.

Approaching footsteps made them pull apart so fast. Yuna sits on the sofa while Jin leans at the  wall across from her. It was one of her mother's assistants, Miss Ahn, who had been helping Yuna during the preparation for this event. She came in to let her know that her mother was leaving in fifteen minutes, which means she and Jin should leave before her. Ji-Won was all about having a grand entrance which Yuna hates. 

"Congratulations Yuna, we are so proud of you. " Aliya greets her friend with a hug as she walked towards the table where they were sitting.

"Thank you and thank you all for coming." Yuna smiles at her friends who were all present to support her. She was sincerely touched that everyone came. The men all looked dashing in their suits and the girls beautiful and sophisticated in their evening gowns. 

"Can I just say your guests are all amazing? They were not kidding when they said that this is an event no one would like to miss." Nari remarked.

"Oh my gosh, I can't believe you guys were able to invite Sirius. They went past me earlier and I swear, I literally froze. Junho looks super cute in real life." Aliya was doing her best to control her excitement but was failing at it.
