7- Ideal Partner

2 Years Later

Time went so quickly. In a flash, two years had passed. The boys graduated from college and are working in their own fields of specialization. Taehyung is now working at their hotel. He actually started his training there years before to get him ready for the day he'd officially work. Namjoon has joined their own family business, and they run an investment company. Jin works for their company too which is related to real estate and property management. Yoongi, Jimin, Jungkook, and Hoseok were the ones who decided to stray from their own family businesses and had worked somewhere else. Each of them, thriving in their own fields.

Aliya and Yuna were close to finishing their courses as well. Just two more semesters for the two girls and they're done. 

Yuna got busier in their family business. Ever since that magazine feature, more eyes were on her in and out of work. Because of this, her mother was on her all the time now. She's more critical of her outputs at work and her physical appearance. The makeover that was made for the photo shoot became a permanent thing for her. All of a sudden, her wardrobe had doubled the size with shoes and bags that would buy her a nice luxury car if she sold them. Because Yuna wanted to please her mother, she followed her wishes.

As she had promised her friends, Yuna occasionally accepted Taehyung, Jimin, and Jungkook's invitation to hang out even if Aliya wasn't there. That made her see Jin during those times even if he was with Irene. 

Whenever Yuna gets a chance to talk with Jin, her heart still races like crazy and she barely makes eye contact with him because she's scared he might see through her. She likes talking with him, not just because she likes him but also because he can talk about anything under the sun. Every moment she spends with him, she keeps in the treasure chest of her heart.

She also developed a friendship with Irene because she is easy to get along with. More than once, she'd confide to her about some argument she and Jin had. She'd give her advice whenever the other woman asks for one. Deep inside, she feels guilty because she secretly likes her boyfriend and that feeling is what made her stop accepting the boy's invitation again. 

Aliya is home for the holidays so everyone gathered together as often as they can. Yuna agreed to go for her friend's sake.  After spending Christmas with their own respective families, they gather at the Lake House so they can spend a few days there just like they used to. Things were a bit different this time though, some of the boys brought their respective girlfriends.

Jin is still with Irene. They recently had to spend almost a year apart when Irene had to go to Australia for training in her job. Namjoon had recently been dating Nari, who Aliya and Yuna met a week ago. They like her a lot.

There are only 3 bedrooms in the lake house, so one has to give a heads up if they want to get a room because they're with someone. Normally, the girls would get the room and the other two would remain vacant or get occupied by Namjoon when the others start to complain about his snoring. The boys choose to sleep in the large den where there were several sofa beds.   

Jimin surprised everyone when he said he was bringing someone. Apparently, Jimin had met her in the new flat he is renting. Jungkook and Taehyung said he stopped joining them for their weekly clubbing since he met her. They only got to meet her once, when he took her to the club one weekend. According to them, it seems like Jimin is hooked on this girl.

Everyone was waiting for them to arrive so they can all have dinner. But it's been almost an hour and there are still no signs of them. 

"What's taking them so long? I am hungry." Jin complained as he walked back from the kitchen. He is in charge of cooking dinner together with Yoongi and Jungkook.
