His Little Butterfly

3 - Destiny

Jin goes back to the table where his friends were and finds them watching someone intently at the dancefloor. He follows their line of sight and sees Yuna and Aliya each having their own partners as they danced.

"Who are they dancing with?" Jin asks his friends.

"We've seen them around here before, but we haven't met them yet." Jimin replies.

Jungkook turns to Taehyung as they watch Aliya dance closer to her partner and turned her back against him while his arm goes around her waist. 

"Do you want to do it or should I?" He asks. They both know that if they are regulars here, there's a reason behind that, and that is to meet and hook up with girls, just like them. They won't have their friends be a victim to that.

Taehyung smirks as he takes a sip from his drink. 

"Let them be for a bit, then I'll go get her." He replies. 

"Guys, leave her alone, she just got back from the States studying, let her enjoy the night." Namjoon tells the two boys.

Taehyung snorts at that. "Don't get fooled by Aliya's kitten like looks. There's a tiger inside her too. I don't think she spends her whole time out there just studying anyway."

"Your analogy is hard to understand. What does 'there's a tiger inside her too' even mean? Does she have a bad temper?" Hoseok said as he laughs. 

"She can have a bad temper yes, but I mean she has a wild side too." Taehyung explains laughing along with his friends good naturedly.

"What about Yuna?" Jin asks.

Jimin stops laughing before he scowls at his friend. "What about her?"

Hoseok starts laughing. "Looks like someone is interested in her." He teased.

Jin shakes his head. "I was just asking. We just met her tonight and now look; she's dancing with someone else."

"So? What's wrong with that? This is a club; people are supposed to dance." Jungkook replied.

"Did you get insulted because she went to dance with another guy instead of you?" Yoongi said with a chuckle after he finished drinking the contents of his beer bottle.

"No, no, it's not like that." Jin moves his hand crisscrossing repeatedly.

Taehyung looks at him. "Of course, she will dance with someone else. You left her by herself because you went to chase some pretty chick. Don't expect women to sit and wait for you all the time."

 "I'm not going to win this conversation." Jin sighs in resignation.

"So who's that other girl you went after?" Namjoon asks Jin.

"An old friend. She's this girl who used to like me as long as I can remember. Damn, she looks so different now. You guys saw her right? Believe me, she looked nothing like that before." He shakes his head. "Anyway, I think she still likes me. She asked for my number and asked if I want to have lunch with her tomorrow."

"What did you say?" Jimin asked.

"I said sure. I am not crazy to turn her down." Jin replies.

"And what do you plan to do with Yuna?" Taehyung asks him. Yuna is his best friend's close friend, so he felt that he needs to protect her too.

Jin turns to watch Yuna laughing over what the guys she is with was saying.  

"I think she likes someone else." He replied.

Jungkook snorts. "I never thought that our quiet and shy Yuna will be the one who'd manage to give Mr. I am Handsome here a big ass whooping."

Jimin and Taehyung laughs as they exchange high fives with Jungkook.
