29 - Welcome

Even though they were just about to launch the Sensational Beauty line, Ji-Won had the team from Yuna's department working on the next series of products. This was because of the positive response they've been getting from the public. That drove them to work harder for their product's success.

Meanwhile, the progress of the lake house's renovation went faster than they expected. Jin and Yoongi frequent the place to check on it. They agreed to switch rooms because Jin's room was next to Aliya's. Jin had been teasing Yoongi he wants to keep his room which pissed the other guy. He waits for his friend to get very mad at him before he admits he was just joking. He didn't didn't like that joke at all of course. The layout of both Yoongi and Aliya's room shows that the partition in between could eventually be removed when the time comes.

Jin and Yuna still made it a point to meet on weekends. Jin had finally decided that he would take Yuna to meet his family one weekend. It's only right to do it before they appear together in public for the product launch.

As expected, Yuna was at the edge of her nerves when that day came.

"What if they don't like me?" She asks as she fidgets with her hands after he picks her up.

Jin laughed softly as he drove.

"They will like you. What's there not to like about you anyway? You're pretty, smart, and very well-mannered. You have nothing to be worried about" He removed one hand from the stirring wheel so he could reach out to her. He takes her left hand before he laces his fingers through hers. She was not joking when she said she's scared, her hands were very cold.

"Relax, Yuna. Just be your normal self around them, they will like you." He tells her, his voice soothing her from her worries.

Yuna was grateful that he decided to hold her hand because it comforted her in many ways. She knew they were getting close to their place when they entered a posh community. After a few turns, he slows down and then enters an open gate which reveals a two-story house with a spacious landscape. They park next to a silver Lexus SUV which Jin explains belongs to his brother.

"They're surprisingly early." He comments as he opens her door for her. Who said chivalry is dead during in modern time? This gesture is flattering but she's not used to it that they've argued about it several times. At that point, she decided to just let him have his way.

As they walked towards the front door, Yuna immediately noticed the well-kept garden. She admires how every plant was in a strategic location that complimented each other. Jin told her that his mother personally did it because it's one of her passions. She recalled their other place at the island which also has a beautiful garden.

The moment they reached the front door, it suddenly swung open revealing a flustered looking man.

"Hyung." Jin utters after he steps back in surprise.

His brother looks at Jin and then at Yuna. He gives her a slight bow, muttering an apology.

"I'm sorry, I forgot to bring the diaper bag inside so I was in a hurry to get it from the car." He explains.

"Hyung, this is Yuna, my girlfriend. Yuna, this is my older brother Sejun."

"Hello, it's good to meet you, oh, and congratulations on your new baby." Yuna greets him with a smile. She's proud of herself because her voice didn't show how nervous she was. She also noticed right away the resemblance the brothers have especially when they talk.

"Thank you, Yuna. I was just telling Father that this is a welcome dinner for the new members of our family, you and Seon-ho." He turns to his younger brother clapping his shoulder lightly. "I thought you were exaggerating whenever you describe her. I can see what you mean now."
