Back at Eggman's former base, Omega was Zavok's new puppet as he attempted to override the doctors security protocols.
Zazz: Uh, Zavok? Why are we employing the guy who thrashed you?
Zavok: Simple answer Zazz. We'll use him to destroy his friends, then I'll personally melt him down and turn him into silverware.
Zazz laughed.
From the side, Zavok's blue short master Zik appeared, out of breath.
Master Zik: It appeared the black and red one has taken the young fox and escaped into the snow region...
Zavok: Master, if you plan on pursuing them, I must intervene. If the doctor's words are correct, the true extent of his power is unknown.
Master Zik: Yes, but does power outweigh skill? It seems you have forgotten that lesson Zavok...
Zazz laughed at him, followed by Zavok shooting him a glare.
Zavok: Very well master, but perhaps you should Take Zeena? She has yet to prove her worth...
Master Zik: Hmmm...you make a good point my former student. Zeena!
The girl Zeti jumped from the ceiling, filing her nails as usual.
Master Zik: Young one, I believe I could require your assistance-
Zeena: Okay, just a sec! I'm getting ready...
Zavok: You always do like to take your time...
Zeena: Well, it is my time to take now, isn't it?
Zavok growled, then decided to use one of Eggman's tactics.
Zavok: Well, what if I told you I thought you were the only one fast enough...
Zeena: Hmm?
Zavok: Smart enough...
Zeena: Oh?
Zavok: And pretty enough...
Zeena: Oh!
Zavok: To aid Master Zik in defeating those nuisances?
Zik rolled his eyes as Zeena stood ready.
Zeena: Well, I'd say you got the right girl for the job! See you outside master...
She walked past Zavok and gave Zik a demeaning pat on the head as she walked out the door.
Zavok: Well, that was so easy, I almost feel guilty.
Zazz: Agh! Why waste time on those losers!? I wanna find that Eggman and rip him apart!
Zavok: Unfortunately, he seems to have fled the hex. But there are...other ways to make the doctor suffer...
Zazz: What are you talking about?
Zavok: What would you say if I told you we could destroy Eggman's world and use its energy as our own to make ourselves unbelievably powerful?
Zazz: I would say keep talking!
Master Zik: And I would say I had taught you well.
Zavok nodded, turning a pulling the switch to Eggman's machine as the extractor burst to life.
