It was a lovely day after all the drama, sunlight glazing over all the pastures and only the beautiful grassland. Eggman was locked away for good, meaning people were finally free from his endless attacks.
On this particular day, Amy had set up a picnic to have some fun. Cream and Chesse were taking attendance as were Omnochao and a few other Chao and Tails lied on a hammock staring up at the sky.
Amy: (Sigh) This is nice, don't you think? Just a day to relax instead of the usual...hustle.
Cheese: Chao!
Cream: Yes Cheese, it is nice out today! Mr Tails, would you like some tea?
Tails: Sure!
A cup materialised by Cream as she filled it. It floated to the hammock.
Tails: (Sips) Ahhh...Thanks Cream!
Cream: You're welcome! Would you you like some Tea Mr Shadow?
Shadow sat looking completely miserable, more then usual. Amy glared fire at him from afar as he held up the cup.
Shadow: (Sigh) Yes, I would like more tea.
Amy smiled as Cream gave Shadow some tea.
Shadow: Chaos, I need a way out of this.
(CLANK!)
From the skies like Boulder, Omega crashed down and shook the entire ground. Everyone went flying a foot in the air as Tails's hammock vanished in a red puff of smoke as he fell to the ground, the cup following after.
Tails: AHH! HOT TEA!
Omega: I believe this is the location.
Amy: Omega! What the heck!?
Shadow: Thank you Omega.
Amy looked at Shadow with anger as he gave a smug grin. Omega turned to Amy.
Omega: I apologise Amy, I am here on duty of a denizen who wished to meet-
A mysterious man suddenly appeared from behind Omega, wearing a yellow outfit with a red crown bearing a small wheel with wings. He twirled his white moustache, in similar appearance and fashion to Eggman.
???: Hello everyone! I apologise for my intrusion, I'm simply here on important business.
Shadow appeared in front of him in a flash.
Shadow: Then speak already, you're wasting people's time.
???: Hohoho, your reputation precedes you Sir Shadow! How fortunate your robotic companion lead me to your location. Now, where is-
Tails grunted as he got back up, brushing his fur when the stranger suddenly ran and shook his hand at light speed.
???: Nice to meet you young fox!
Tails: Uh...thanks? Who are you?
???: Oh, I apologise! All this hubbub and you don't even know my name! My name is Dodon Pa, but I'm here to invite you and your companions to a race!
Tails and Shadow looked at each-other with confusion.
Tails: Could we maybe get some more...details?
Dodan Pa: Oh, details are quite unimportant, especially to those of limited intellectual capacities...All you need to know is that you'll race as teams in the most advanced cars that my super science can create, testing your limits on my punishing track.
