Forces (6/6) Last Egg to Crack

As the Robot looked over them, Shadow was barely managing to keep himself awake as he looked up.

Shadow: Miles...Run...

Tails looked at Shadow in fear, then back at the robot.

Eggman: Bravo, Bravo! I must say, all of you threw one heck of a show but I'm afraid your little light show ends here!

Tails: Eggman...

Eggman: Yes, it's me! Sorry I'm late to the party, I had to put on my best suit! Surprised you didn't recognise the power source from the lights...

Eggman Briefly opened the chest compartment on his bot, unveiling The Master Emerald being used as the main power core. Tails's eyes went wide.

Eggman: It Wasn't hard to take with you or that red moron no longer guarding it! I kept this on hand just incase Infinite decided to turn on me! A true master of cards always leaves his best hand available until the end...

Amy watched from afar with worry, looking between the army and the giant bot. She panicked about what to do, but moved on instinct as she grabbed her hammer and charged forward.

Tails panicked, shaking as he stared down the Egg-bot. Amy appeared behind him, throwing her hammer at the bot as it was immediately blasted down to Earth by a laser shot.

Eggman: Woah. I'll be honest, even for you miss Rose, that was pathetic.

Amy growled, before grabbing Shadow's Satchel.

Amy: I-it's okay, we can use these to-

A flash of green light blasted from the master emerald, causing the emeralds to turn grey and lose their glow as she dropped the satchel in shock.

Eggman: Do you really think those are going to help you now?! Wow, either Knuckles never told you this or you never bothered to listen! The Master emerald nullify's all Super forms!!!HOHOHOHO!!! You don't stand a chance!

The Death egg robot raised its fist in the air...

Eggman: The resistance shall be crushed! But first, I will send a message by CRUSHING YOU!!

Amy: Tails, what do we do!?

Tails: Get Shadow-!

But it was too late, the three of them looking up and seeing the fist coming down to crush them all. Amy screamed and Tails rose his hands in reflexive defence-

(WHAM!)

Before the fist collided with the ground, leaving a huge dent in the ground where everyone was standing.

The others yelled out in shock, horror and anger. Cream caved on her knees as Blaze gave the girl a hug. Omega unleashed his rage by unloading his remaining arsenal, but it did no damage. Espio and Classic Sonic moved to charge, but a laser blast by their feet stopped them in their tracks.

Eggman's laughter reverberated off the inside of the robot control centre.

Eggman: Finally! The world is mine at last!!!

Eggman turned his attention to the army, clenching his fist.

Eggman: And now, to deal with the rest of-

Suddenly, his visors flashed with warning, drawing his attention to the arm on his creation as he saw...a red glow...

Eggman: Eh?
