Part 3

Akk POV

Yesterday, Wat and Khan went to dinner outside after completing our homework and we came across this mysterious man again.

He looked tensed on seeing us and left the place soon but he left the store bill. I took it from the ground and saw it was some sort of a Triazolam (Halcion). I don't know what sort of pill that was.

"Akk....Come fast. What are you staring at?", Wat called me while I was staring at the bill in my hand

"Nothing. Let's go", I crushed the bill and put it in my pocket, and joined them.

We went to the best noodles shop on the street. After we settled and ordered our food, Wat kept on staring at his phone and he was chatting with his girlfriend, Jane, from the nearby girl's school which was a little bit annoying.

"Wat.... Stop staring at the phone and smiling", Khan said him.

"Sorry....Where are we?", he asked lost in the conversation.

"Ohh....Love boy lost himself again", Khan teased him.

"Hey....You should be in love to know about how it feels.", he said to us both.

"No thanks. We are all right now", I said to him.

It is not like that I hate to be in love but. I have my responsibilities as a student President to glorify the school and as a son to take good care of my parents and myself to get into a good university.

My parents work hard and I have to repay them and I don't want to disappoint them.

"Yeah....We are fine now. We don't need a girlfriend", Khan assured.

Back at our dorm........

I was so tired after a tiring long day. I went to take a bath and I lay there in my bed wondering what this man is all about, the new mysterious man in my class. I have never met someone so mysterious and seems he holds many secrets.

By the time I remembered about the medicine he was buying in the store, I googled Triazolam (Halcion) and found that to be sleeping pills. Whatever, I got to go to school tomorrow so I let myself sleep.

The next day.........

As usual, I got ready for school and we were on duty checking if the students maintained the orderliness of the school rules. And I saw, Ayan coming through the school gate.

He entered the school with total disgust on his face. I cannot understand, why he detests school this much. He does not look like an average boy. But a person who seems to know a lot, then why is he not willing to come to school?

He glared at me and went straight to the classroom. That was a cold stare, giving me chills. After our duty, we went to our class.

We got social period. Ms. Jin who was handling the subject announced to us that we have a surprise test.

"What!!"

"Oh no!!", there was a lot of chatting from the students from behind.

I was worried about one thing but I don't know why I was worried about it. I worried about how Ayan could write the test because he has only joined the class yesterday and if he could not perform well in this sort of test his grades would be slipping.

She distributed us a Question paper consisting of 30 MCQ and gave us 30 minutes.

After the test, she asked us to exchange and correct the papers by exchanging them with the nearby members.

Ayan sits near me, so my paper is with him, and he is with me. She read out the answers and we corrected them. To my surprise, he answered everything correctly. How the hell is it possible?

"Students, now exchange the papers.", she said.

He gave mine to me and I did the same. "28/30", I read the mark.

"Students, who scored the highest?", she asked. Everyone eyed Thua and me because we are the toppers of the class.

"Thua, how much?", Wat asked.

"28/30", he replied.

"Akk?", Wat asked me too.

"28/30", I replied.

"28/30? Is it the highest score?", Mis Jin asked.

I eyed Ayan, he was maintaining his profile so low. Even though he scored the highest, he never volunteered in showing himself off.

"Then Well done. Give a round of applause to Akk and Thua.", she said.

I could not stand seeing this.

"Mam, Ayan scored the highest. 30/30", I said to her standing.

"Oh...Ayan, Keep it up. Class, give a round of applause to Ayan.", she instructed the class.

The whole class was surprised and everyone clapped at him. He seemed to show no interest in getting appreciated.

The class ended and everyone left the class. "Do you think of yourself as a hero? Why did you say my mark in front of the class?", he asked me with his still-cold stare.

"I don't see any heroism here. Perhaps you got all right by fluke that makes you angry!", I defended myself and said sarcastically to him.

"Just don't cross my path", he warned me and held my collar, and pushed me harder.

How dare he, I am the school president and he just pushed me like anything. I cannot tolerate such things.

"Ayan....You are going off your limits", I said giving him a hard punch over his face.

He pulled his hand for a punch.

"Akk...Ayan. Stop. What are you guys doing?", Wat came just then and parted us apart.

"Come on Akk....let us go", he dragged me out of the place.

"What the hell are you doing?", he asked me putting his hands over my shoulder.

"He started Wat. That FM", I said.

(FM means Mother fucker. Since we are inside the school campus, we aren't allowed to talk bad words, so with friends, we use some words like FM (mf)).

"Leave it. How about an energy drink?", he asked me trying to deviate from the happenings.

"Okay, let's go."

He knows how to calm me down. On our way, I saw someone who was running in the corridor. "You cannot run in the corridor.", I stopped them and warned him.
