Akk POV

There was a prevailing tension between me and Ayan at the time in our room. I am not sure if he is doubting me or anything, but one thing was very obvious, he was very possessive of me and did not even want anyone to be near me, even as a friend. Was mentioning Xiao make him that much angry?

"Aye! Yeah, we used to be friends back then, but not anymore, we had a lot of differences in thoughts and so, we gradually drifted apart. Don't you believe me?", I said to him more convincingly.

"Hmmm", he replied not even looking at my face.

"So, my boyfriend is finally getting possessive of me", I hugged him sidewards cupping him inside my hands.

"Of, course, I get possessive of my boyfriend! Who would not like such a cute guy like you!", he commented, I felt he was teasing me.

A strange thing happens to me, whenever I blush, my ears blush too. That is weird, right?

"So, sweet talk, I am not falling for that!", I finally replied to his praise.

"AKK", I heard my mom yelling again from downstairs.

I am obliged to reply to her as soon as possible. "Your mother won't let us do romance, I guess!", he murmured and started unpacking his bag.

I chuckled lightly! And let him go out of my control.

I have already built a mind map of all the places, I want to take him to in our town. I hope this doesn't become a crash.

After having had our heavy meal prepared by my mom, we headed out to our first place in the scorching sun. It was oddly sunny for the month.

I borrowed a motorbike from my neighbor and Ayan, "Do you know how to ride motorbikes?"

"I am an expert in driving cars.....", there was a pause, ".....but I never had a chance to learn this"

"So, you don't know!", I asked him chuckling with sarcasm.

He nodded yes. This is the character of Ayan, he used to excel in most of the things, but he never admits his weakness, that easily. This isn't a bad character, but when people see his character for the first time, they mistake him for being rude or a person full of attitude, yet when you are with him, he is such a kind-hearted and caring person.

Even I mistook him for a ruthless person during our initial day. So, I handed him the helmets for him to wear and started the scooter, and he sat at the back.

It is been a long since I rode a scooter. "Do you drive well?", he asked me reassuringly.

"Of course", I answered. Initially, I got a little jerk, but later on, the scooter went so smoothly.

While we were passing by each place, I started narrating about each place and its significance in my life. I stopped him at the first place, the famous Elephant National Park in Chiang Mai.

"What is this place?", he asked surprised.

"This is the Elephant conservation park, where they conserve the elephants that were raised in brutal conditions or harmful environments. Trust me, you will enjoy it here!", I assured taking him inside.

"Can I?", he looked into my eyes asking permission to hold my hands.

I smiled in agreement. We walked deep inside the Park holding hands and he took photos of a few birds passing by, and the trees.

"Hey! There is an elephant! Can we go and pet it?", he asked me. And his eyes glowed in excitement.

"Of course, we can even help them feed and take a bath!"
