Ayan POV

Akk. Every time, I look into his eyes, the thing I feel is comfort. I get immense comfort around him. He makes me feel special that he has shown his heartfelt smile only to me. I think I am in love with him.
And the effort he puts in to showcase his hometown is immense. I don't know, why I got suddenly emotional and revealed that I was not taken to places like these to Akk.

But after sharing, I felt light and at ease. "Ayan! Stop crying. We are in public!", Akk woke me up from my emotional breakdown.

"Where are we going next?", I asked.

"Now! We are going to the most anticipated Lantern festival!"

"Ho Ho! Cool! I am so excited", I revealed my excitement through words.

And he started the motorbike and I sat behind him. I want this ride to be endless, and want to continue!

Riding through the lush green paddy fields filled with cattle and street dogs gave me a new experience and induced a likingness for Chirag Mai. Bangkok was always been busy. While I was in Bangkok, I only remember this particular phrase, "What is this life full of? No time to stand and stare!", by WH. Davis filled my mind.

On our way, we saw a lot of locals dressed in traditional Thai dress and I suddenly popped out a question, "Akk, Do you wear native Thai attire?"

"Yeah! I wear them", he shouts out from riding the bike.

"How come I never seen you once, wearing those!", I chuckled.

"Why are you laughing?", he asked me.

"No...Nothing!", I managed.

"Say, why you laughed.", he pestered.

"No, I just imagined you in those clothes and I cannot stop laughing!"

"Aye.......", he called me out concerned!

"Just for fun! You go on!", I consoled him by hugging his waist. And he placed his hands over my hands when I hugged him from behind, such a romantic feel. And I never knew, Akk had such a romantic side too.

At the Lantern festival

"Tada! Welcome to the lantern festival!", Akk welcomed as we entered the vast open land crowded with a lot of people. That was indeed a huge crowd.

"So, what we are about to do?", I asked Akk since he knew very well what to do.

"Ok, Listen, so this festival is basically for the bringing of good luck to us and we need to think of what we want immediately in life and blow this lantern away."

"That simple! Fine", I acknowledged. The only thing that concerned me was the swim of people who had arrived at this location. It was so suffocating for me.

And holding the hands of Akk, I followed his lead. He stopped at a shop, where we chose the lantern of our choice. I have never been to such a festival, and all the things happening around me seem unreal and new.

We jointly flew away the lanterns, I wished for happiness like this as always and to be with him like this life long. The lock of hair falling on his face added extra beauty to his already beautiful face. It was unusually windy today, exactly opposite to the weather in the morning. I took the locks of hair falling over his face and looked deep into his eyes, they communicated with mine, the look of surprise on his face.
