Akk POV

The rest of the day went by without us making the initiative to talk with each other. Why do I dire needed to talk to him so much?

I have read somewhere, you desire more for the things that you know you won't get. I hate this feeling, the feeling that I need to talk to a person, particularly him.

Only once during lunchtime, he crossed me and we made eye contact, that too for a very short second. We passed electrons through our eyes and there was obviously a current flowing between us. Or Am I the one thinking about him like this? I am confused.

Not a single day did I feel the urge to go to my dorm, but today, I wanted to go to the dorm as soon as possible and text him as soon as possible.

"Akk, we got a meeting with the Principal today, do you remember?", Kahn asked me during the last hour. Oh no. This is an untimely hour to be called when you have the urgency to go home.

"Sawasdee Kha", I greeted him on entering the principal's office.

"Prefects I called you to inform you that tomorrow, we have a seminar in our school for the senior year students about sexual health. I want to have a disciplined seminar tomorrow, no indiscipline behavior will be tolerated. You have got to be strict tomorrow. Got it?", he informed us.

"Yes sir", we acknowledged in chorus.

And then we all left for the dorm. On the way back dorm Wat started, "Guys, so tomorrow we will be having a sex education seminar?", he smirked.

Whenever Wat talked something nasty, Kahn will be the one to reply, "I hope Wat no need this. He is a Master in this!!" and he laughed.

"Perhaps, Kahn is the Expert!", Wat teased Kahn.

After both turned towards me, "Akk...Have you got any knowledge about this? If not, we will teach you", Wat teased me.

"Guys stop it", I blushed.

"Akk, it is very simple, first you have to.........", Kahn started. I just closed his mouth with my hands.

Talking about some other things, we reached our dorm. I took a bath and reached for my mobile phone. "Hey"

A few minutes later, he was online.

Ayan: Hey. What's it?

Akk: Thanks for returning my ear pods safely.

Ayan: Weird. You are texting to thank me!

I got panicked. I want to come up with a good reason, or, my intention to become just friends will be ruined.

Akk: Nope, Just checking on you if you are fine or fainted on some other road.

Ayan: Vey funny.

Akk: I wanted to discuss the project we were about to do together.

Ayan: Yes, I thought of asking you.

Akk: Will the G-meet be okay?

Ayan: Why don't you come to my home? We can do it there.

Akk: If it doesn't bother you, I will be fine.

Ayan: I will send my address, See you at 6.

...............................................

So, I will meet the rude-faced, attitude-headed, Ayan in his house. I am trembling.

I got ready and wore my white tee shirt and a pair of Khaki pants. And a jacket. I took my notes and essential stationery supplies, told my friends about the group project, and went to Ayan's house.

I rang the bell at his house, he came out wearing a casual dress.

"Come in. Mom is on her duty today."

I saw his house, it was quite cozy. "Hmm"

"Shall we start?", I asked him.

"Yeah, we can go upstairs to my room?"

"Yeah, sure"

On the way to his room, I saw plenty of Shields, awards, and cups. "Are these all yours?", I asked him.

He just nodded.

His room was so tidy and had a study table and two chairs. "I guess, this would be comfortable?"

"More than comfortable", I said.

"So, have you collected any points regarding our topic?", he asked me. And I showed him the notes, in which I took a few points. And after several hours of brainstorming finally, we were able to come to a clean sketch of how our presentation is going to look like.

"You are a good team player", I blurted out.

"Indeed. You would be hungry, let me take and come something to eat ", saying so, he went downstairs.

I got my time to look around his room a bit deeper. There was his photo, I took them in my hand and looked at them closer, he smiled so cheerfully, showing almost all 32 teeth.

"Hey", he suddenly called my name.

I got panic and the photo frame slipped off my floor to the ground. It broke, breaking into glass pieces.

"Shit, I am so sorry", I bent down to pick up the broken glass pieced. "Ssss", a glass piece pieced my hands, while picking up.

"Stop it. I can do it, you are bleeding"

"I am sorry, I didn't mean to break that photo"

"Leave it, who will break a photo intentionally? First, get up, your bleeding must be stopped soon."

He applied Detol to the bleeding area, applying some antiseptic cream and covering the wound with a bandage.

I thanked him for helping him, but he replied by saying that what he is doing now is not so great compared to what he has done to him, by staying a whole night when he was not well.

After treating the wounded spot, we came back to our work. "You cannot use your laptop now, so you just give me the content and thus we can finish this faster", he said.

"Yes, sure"

"And don't forget to eat this"

"Oh, I forgot, you are wounded right, just open your mouth", he just fed me an apple piece that he had previously brought.

I just stared at him in surprise, why haven't I seen such a caring side of his character all this while?

I could not contain my curiosity with me and I asked him, "Why are you nice to me?"

"I will be nicer to the one, who is nice to me"
