It had been 4 months since Olivia had moved in with Rory and Amy and they both had the day off so were spending it at home with the three children.
Rory was in the kitchen making lunch for the 5 of them and Amy came in, hugging him from behind, "hey" she kissed his cheek and rested her chin on his shoulder.
"Hey, what are the kids doing?"
"Olivia and Emily are in their room, and Thomas is in the lounge watching TV"
He finished cutting up the sandwiches and the fruit and turned around to face his wife, wrapping his arms around her waist, "I'm really proud of you Amy"
"What for?"
"For accepting Olivia into the family, I knew how hard that was for you".
"Well she didn't have anywhere else to go, and you're her father after all"
He smiled and kissed her a couple of times, "how about we go out for a meal tomorrow night, just the two of us".
"She smiled back at him, "sounds perfect" she kissed him passionately for a few seconds.
He smiled again at her before putting the lunch on the table and getting the children ready, Amy watching him, smiling.
