Chapter 10

Leaving the gym, I decided to go back to my room to let things lie a little before showing my face again, I'd never seen Peace that angry before it was really intimidating.
As I was walking down the narrow corridor in front of me I felt someone pin my hands behind my back and press me up against the wall, fear washed me as I had no idea who this was.
To my relief it was Peace with a smug grin plastered on his face, clearly satisfied with my frightened look.
"Knock it off, you could of scared me to death" I said trying to hint my get-off-me look. "Well then if I did that at least I can say that I killed you after you beat me up" he said chuckling. "This isn't funny Peace!", "I think it is" he said at this point I realised how close we were and decided to pull away and continue my journey back towards my room.
Once I got up two flights of stairs and reached my door, I hadn't realised Peace had followed me and as I went to close the door it flew back open, with Peace standing there giving me puppy dog eyes. "Come in then" I said making the annoyance in my voice obvious.
"I love what you've done to the place" Peace said in a rather girly voice, I tried my best not to laugh but failed miserably.
As I sat down on my bed Peace sat next to me, "Meg how long have we been friends now?" he asked rather sudden. "About 5 years why?" I was rather interested into seeing where this was going. "Okay so for 5 years I've been in love with you and I now you don't feel the same about me" he said looking down, this took me back a bit, is he serious? He can't be in love with me? "Honestly I think your incredible, but I don't think Leo will love you back, do you understand?" He said looking me dead in the eyes and titling his head to one side. "How do you know I lik-love Leo?" I asked trying to hide my face. "Really Meg, how hasn't anyone noticed? The minute he texts you, you're straight at your phone replying you love the way he calls you 'baby girl'" I cringed my face when he air quoted this, "even when it is a joke, you're crazy about him, but he has a soul mate and he wants her and honestly I just don't think that's you" he said rather bluntly. All I could do was nod and look down at my fingers, Peace got up and kissed the top of my head before leaving me on my bed. Tears threatened to fall, why was I crying? Was it because Peace just told me straight up Leo won't love me because we all have a destined soul mate or was it because he just told me he loves me and I know myself I can't love him? Who knows I just wanted to sleep this pain away.
My phone buzzed on the desk I placed it on, 'Leo Knowles💙' lit up, wiping a single tear I forced myself to pick up the phone and read what it had to say, "Meg, ring me now I need to speak to you about something, you won't even believe it! X". Leo was the last person I wanted to speak to right now, I decided to delete the message and go to sleep lets hope Wednesday is a better day for me.
