I managed to get dressed pretty quickly, just a casual outfit that is fit to been seen out in. Black jeans, blue t shirt with a white collar with cats on and my black boots, simple yet comfy.
Suddenly my phone starts to ring and its an unknown number. I choose to pick it up incase its someone I know at a pay phone stuck in need of help. "Hello?" I ask, waiting for a response but all I hear is heavy breathing. "Is someone there?" I ask, but still no reply.
"Forget what you saw, don't mention it to anyone else or you will pay." A booming voice said then hung up. I threw my phone on the bed and chose to Skype Caspar on my laptop instead.
"Ali! Glad you called-"
"Nows not the time for chit chat Casp, we're going out. I'll meet you at your hotel in 10?" I ask and he agrees, I grab my bag and shove my phone inside, I have no way of tracing the number back nor finding out who it is, but I have my suspicions.
Shortly after speaking to Caspar I arrive outside his hotel to see him waiting for me, I open the cab door for him to get in. "Get in loser we're going shopping!" I say and he rolls his eyes, then hugs me.
It's been far too long since I last saw Caspar in the flesh.
Flashback:
As we head through the very busy hectic crowd of dancers I managed to sit down at the bar. I looked next to me to see that Caspar had vanished I turned my head a few times in hope I could locate Caspar, suddenly I heard a loud yell and swivelled in my chair and as I fell off of it I got a quick glimpse in the direction of the yell and saw Caspar wave and I hit the ground, hard.
"Okay I am going to act like that didn't hurt." I mumbled to myself and since everyone around me was either drinking away their sorrows, or dancing like a maniac or eating each others faces it meant no one would notice me slowly pulling myself back up in pain.
I sat down and saw the bar tender just smile and I took my drink and drank not wanting my cheeks to blush in embarrassment. "Ali! Come dance with us!" I put down my drink and saw Caspar jumping up and down in the distance with a few strangers and I let out a laugh and shake my head and turn around back to my drink.
"You know, if you wanted to have a good laugh why not go join your boyfriend over there?" I lifted my head up to see the bartender leaning against the bar facing me, I began to blush in embarrassment by asking me if A. I had a boyfriend and if B. Caspar was my boyfriend, I choked on my drink at his comment.
"I er we um." I coughed and he looked very confused. "I'm sorry, he's not my boyfriend, he's actually a friend that's all." I managed to say without sounding stupid.
"Oh I just thought a pretty girl like yourself would have a fella with her tonight." He smiled to me.
"Yeah I guess this is the way you talk to all the girls huh?" He pulled a hurt face then returned to drying off his glasses.
"Sometimes guys too." He winked and I rolled my eyes and ordered another drink then saw Caspar walking towards me and he collapsed into the chair next to me and took a large sip at his drink.
"Okay match maker time." I said smiling, I love matchmaking it makes me happy knowing I helped get a couple together.
"Sure, I'll give you a head start whilst I calm down." He took another large sip at his drink as I scanned the room, looking at all the potential women for Caspar.
Then I saw her.
"Caspar, how about her." I looked in the direction of her leaning against the wall talking to her friends, she was pretty, young and looks like Caspars type.
