Ericka's pov

The next morning I was awakened by Daryl. Today he, myself, Yumiko, Magna, Connie, Kelly, Carol, Jerry and Aaron are going out to hunt in our new area since Alpha made a new border for us. Once Rosita came over to watch Shay, Judith and RJ, Daryl and I took off to meet with the others.

"About last night..." Daryl begins before I interrupted him

"Don't...It's ok..just give me some time please, when I'm ready we'll talk, I promise." I say looking at him as he embraced me

"Ok, I'mma hold you to that." He says letting me go as we continued walking

"Can I ask you something?" I ask Daryl

"Ask me what?" He answered

"What's up with you and Connie?" I ask as a smile forms on Daryl's face

"Nothin' just friends is all, I can't be with her." He simply says

"Pssh... uhm, yeah we were friends with benefits at one point so it's either you can't or won't be with her so, which is it? I know you like ber" I ask

"I do but I can't... Leah messed me up and something else." He says and before I can say anything he interrupted me... "Don't... I'll talk to you about it when I'm ready." He tells me while stoping in his tracks and grabs my hand  "when you're ready to talk, I'll talk." I nod and we continued walking hand in hand until we saw the group and let go. About an hour into hunting Carol pulls me aside asking if we can talk.

"I know that when it comes to Alpha, you want her dead just like I do." She says

"Damn right, I do." I say getting a bit angry at the mention of her name

"She ordered to have my son killed, she ordered Beta to kill your husband who later died from a heart attack caused by his internal injuries." She says which causes me to get a bit more angry only because had I known he was having a heart attack I could've saved him.

"Where you getting at?" I say trying to hide my anger but it's written all over my face

"You and I, should look for her. End it since the others are scared too." She says very ballsy

"If I see her mark my words, she's dead, but I can't go looking for her anymore, I promised Daryl." I say now frustrated

Just then Carol told me to be quiet as we heard some leaves break which caused Daryl and the others to be with us, when Carol whispers to me, "turn your head slowly to the right behind you over by the tree." I did what she said and there she was, the bald headed bitch who needed to be killed. Daryl noticed her as well, as he and I look at each other, then I look at Carol who I know was seeing red just like I was, without hesitation Carol and I run after her causing the others to follow us.

I ran a bit faster than Carol to the point I even had Alpha by her sleeve till I fuckin tripped. I was way ahead of the others and Alpha was nowhere in sight. I looked everywhere but all I saw were trees and frustration began to take over me, to the point I punched a tree causing my knuckles to bleed but I didn't feel any pain, I was completely numb.

"Where the fuck did she go?" I mumble to myslef when I heard a voice answer

"Ericka, what the hell are you doing?" He says a bit angry

I turn around and see him... Shane... A faded version of him, he's not see through but he's not solid either.

"No, no, you're not real." I say grabbing my head and closing my eyes

"I'm gone princess, killing her isn't gonna bring me back." He says

"No but it'll make me feel better." I say as I'm crying "why are you here? You're dead, you're supposed to be watching over us." As I opened my eyes, he's gone, I lower my hands and turn my head in every direction but no sign of him "Shane?, "Amor?" I call out but nothing
