As Carol was baking sweets for the kids in my kitchen, I was getting ready for my run. Carol will be staying at my house helping Rosita with Coco, Shay, RJ, and Judith.
It's been a week and Daryl hasn't been back. Which is scaring the holy crap out of me. Today myself Negan and Alden are going to go out looking for him.
Usually when Daryl goes out on runs he's back within two days tops, I knew him going to go look for supplies would be tricky but when the others returned without him yesterday we knew something was up.
Shay is no longer mad at me, we had another heart to heart talk and she is thankful that Daryl makes me smile cause she hated seeing and hearing me cry every night ever since Shane died. To make her feel closer to her daddy, I did the unthinkable, I took off my 22 necklace and my wedding ring.
I placed my ring through the chain of the necklace so it's next to the 22. Shay now wears it around her neck, she now has a piece of Shane and I with her at all times. Not gonna lie though, I feel weird without it, I've had it around my neck for thirteen years after all, same with not having my ring on my finger.
I still have yet to be visited by Shane, I really do miss seeing and hearing his voice.
"Ready sexy?" Negan asks as I walk out my door meeting him and Alden. I stopped and rolled my eyes at his comment

"What?, it was the only thing that rhymes with ready?" He says which makes Alden laugh
"Freddy, Negan.. Freddy rhymes with ready." I say walking past him as Alden laughs harder at my joke
"Sorry, don't want Daryl beating my ass especially since he and I just became bff's." He says making me laugh
As we head out to the woods we ran into Maggie and Elijah who were being chased by a group called, "The Reapers."
"I need to tell you something." Maggie says touching my shoulder. "Daryl is with them... he's with a blonde woman, I heard them call her, Leah." My eyes nearly popped out of my sockets, my heart fell to my stomach at the mention of her name.
Daryl said it to my face how he really feels about her, why the hell would he be with her? Oh my God, is he cheating on me? Is that why he's been gone for a week, did he get back with her?
"You alright?" Maggie asked me as she notices my obvious shocked expression on my face
"Leah?" I ask as she nods her head, "that's his ex... They were together when he was on his own after Rick."
"Well damn, hope I get to see a sexy badass catfight later." Negan says trying to make a joke but instead Alden punches him in the arm telling him to shut up.
We were walking for a few hours trying to find clues as to why Daryl was with "The Reapers." When we came across a house and I saw Daryl standing on the porch really close to Leah, way to close for my liking.
