"So", Amrin plopped onto the blanket. "Would you still love me if I was a tree?"

They were situated in the middle of the park. The sun set. Cool air creating a whisk sound as it blew to nowhere. Amrin took the liberty of playing in Audrina's reoccurring theme of all nighters and planned a date after dark. He told her to come in her pajamas which she had no problem in agreeing. Her hair wrap patirally in a silk scarf, and to deal with the coolness, sweatshirt and long pajama pants.

The blanket was already set when they arrived meaning he had planned it before he picked her up. She rolled her eyes at the question, watching as he took out some ingredients from a basket he brought.

"Why?"

He shrugged his shoulder, "It's typical for girls to ask their boyfriends, thought I'd be different."

"Isn't there already so much different about our relationship.", she huffed taking a grape from one of the many bowls he set out.

She was thankful no one was out at this time of night. Having graduated from Highschool, the ceremony had just taken place that morning. And it was emotional. Understating that from there on out, she was truly one to set her own path. Make goals that would steer towards her future. A future hopefully with the individual in front of her that had picked up another grape and tossed it into her mouth.

It took a while to bring Amrin back into her life after erasing his memories the first time. She was more careful. Precise with how she approached him . How she looked at him during class. And most importantly..... how she dealt with him finding out about her curse for a second time. This time she told him intentionally. Perhaps if she had entire control on the situation. From how he found out, to when she actually showed him by transforming into her owl, it wouldn't be so much as a hassle to maintain secrecy about their entire relationship.

To make perfect timing, coming out from the dark blue sky, she only felt when two bird talons, pressured on top of her head. "See", she gestured to the owl.

Amrin smiled and as if he planned for the not so rare occasion, he pulled a Polaroid and took a picture, the flash lighting up their vicinity.

"Yes but, do other couples get photos like these everyday?", he waved the film till the image started to display itself.

"Probably if they pay for it", Audrina winced as the owl shifted. It's talons sinking into her scalp. Another appropriate preparation for the occasion, Amrin dug into his bag and pulled out an arm sleeve. He slid it on his forearm and leaned over to introduce the owl to his covered arm. Thankfully the owl obliged and hopped onto it before it could cause Audrina to bleed. She thanked him, adjusting the scarf on her head and looked back down to the assortment of ingredients. She squinted her eyes trying to understand what laid before her. "What's all this?"

"Answer the question.", he hummed as he flicked his arm to send the owl on its way. The flapping of its wings dying off in the distant night.

Groaning Audrina faced him. His green eyes just a hint away from the real gems. He let his hair go, it hanging every which way it wanted. This was when she liked him best. Undone. His eyes were bright and hopeful.

"Yes.... I'd still love you if you were a tree."

He sat on the other side of the blanket and blinked a couple times after she said that. And like she pressed an unpaused button he went back to assorting everything on the blanket, "That's weird."

"You know what-.", Audrina chuckled and picked up another grape to throw at him. And of course he predicted the moment and rose his head just in enough time to catch it in his mouth. Regaining his attention she gave him a finger, "You make my life ten times harder. I hope you're happy."
