I don't know what time they have dinner around here but it's 7pm and I'm peckish. People have migrated into the common room but that's a little daunting to deal with right now so I'm going to sit in the kitchen with Wanda.
- y/n : Hi, can I sit in here with you guys?
- Wanda : Of course. Vis, this is Y/n
- Vision : I know. It is nice to meet you Agent Hill
- Wanda : Hill? As in Maria Hill
- y/n : Can we keep that between us three for now? I don't want people to feel like they have to be my friend or that I got in here because of my sister. I'm an actual agent, I promise. I'm not just a kid from the streets
- Wanda : Sure. It would be fine if you were a kid from the streets. Me and Pietro lived on the streets for years before we joined Hydra
- y/n : Hydra?
- Wanda : Yeah. Stark bombed our apartment block and it killed our parents. The foster home we were in couldn't afford to feed everyone there and it was not kind so we left for the streets. Hydra found us on the streets and experimented on us, that's how I got my powers
That's a lot to take in. I knew she had powers but I kind of presumed she was born with them.
- Pietro : What's for dinner?
- Wanda : Macaroni Cheese and Garlic Bread
- Pietro : Okay. Hello Y/n
- y/n : Hi Pietro
- Pietro : Would you like to sit next to me during dinner?
- y/n : If no one else is sitting there then sure. I don't want to step on anyone's toes
- Pietro : You can always sit on my la-
- Wanda : Pietro, no. She's only just gotten here. Don't go scaring her off
That was very forward but I have never been in a relationship and I don't think I'll get into a relationship with a potential colleague. I don't know the conditions of dating a colleague, especially as an Avenger.
- Wanda : Boys, food is ready
- Thor : I am a god Lady Maximoff, not a boy
- Tony : The only boys here are Pietro and Peter
- Wanda : This bickering is why I called you all boys. Sit down and dig in. You can sit too Y/n
- Steve : I don't believe we have met. I'm Steve
- y/n : I'm Y/n, like Wanda said
- Steve : I look forward to training with you
- Tony : Is Rogers flirting? FRIDAY did you get that?
- FRIDAY : Video recording saved under 'blackmail'
- Vision : It appears that Captain Rogers was not flirting but genuinely looking forward to training with Y/n
It feels like one big family but right now I feel out of place. Hopefully over time I won't feel so out of place but for now it'll be easier to only speak if I'm spoken to, that's until I learn everyone's mannerisms.
- Bruce : When is Natasha expected back?
- Tony : She said it was a 3 day mission, it's been 3 days. She should be home tomorrow morning
- Bruce : What if something has gone wrong?
- Tony : FRIDAY would've told us and Fury would've been round. She's fine Banner
- Steve : I still expect you all at training tomorrow morning
- Clint : Don't make Nat do it. You know how hard she pushes herself on a mission
- Steve : I wasn't going to force her to, I was going to give her the choice
Training starts at 5am which means I should wake up at 4.30am. I'm going to be going to bed at like 8pm to get enough sleep to function. It's my first night in a new place meaning I won't sleep great so I'll just be exhausted tomorrow.

Time to lay in the dark and hope I fall asleep so that I don't look dead at tomorrow mornings training session. You know what, fuck this. I need a glass of water before I sleep. I've been staring at the ceiling for hour now and it's almost midnight so maybe going on a little walk might help me sleep.
- y/n : Er, hi?
- Natasha : You wouldn't be a good spy. I heard you coming
- y/n : Good thing I wasn't trying to sneak up on you. I didn't even know someone was in here
- Natasha : I just got back off a mission. You are?
- y/n : Y/n. You're Natasha
- Natasha : I am. Why're you awake?
- y/n : I can't sleep in new places, not very well at least
- Natasha : Wanda keeps Chamomile teas in her cupboard. She doesn't mind when some goes missing
- y/n : I don't want to step on her toes and use her stuff without asking
- Natasha : I'll just tell her that I used it
- y/n : Why?
- Natasha : What?
- y/n : Why would you cover for me?
- Natasha : I know what it's like to not be able to sleep in a new place and when we moved here I wish there was someone to help me
Maria made Natasha sound like kind of a bitch. Like she isolates herself in her room and doesn't interact with the others.
- Natasha : Try that. It's how I make my tea
- y/n : I wouldn't have labelled you as a tea drinker
- Natasha : I'm full of surprises
- y/n : Mhm
- Natasha : You need to try to sleep. Steve probably has loads of tests for you tomorrow
- y/n : Tests?
- Natasha : Yeah. He'll want to test your stamina, strength, accuracy and agility at least. Then he'll make you spar with someone, probably Wanda considering you're the same age and probably similar in all aspects where he tested you before that
- y/n : How's that fair? She has powers
- Natasha : She won't use them
Well I am so looking forward to the morning. I'm going to get my ass beat by Wanda. Isn't that brilliant?
