YOUR POV

I've stuffed myself with so much Thai food that my stomach hurts so bad.

- Natasha : That was so good

- y/n : I've eaten so much

- Natasha : Mhm

- y/n : What do you want to do?

- Natasha: I'm too full for sex. Can we watch a movie when we get home?

- y/n : Yeah. Come on

- Natasha : Thank you for today

- y/n : No problem my love

I'm not going to make it halfway through whatever movie Nat chooses, I'm going to fall asleep.

- y/n : Where's that one jumper of yours I wear to bed?

- Natasha : I put it in the wash because you'd dribbled all over it

- y/n : I don't dribble when I sleep

- Natasha : You do

- y/n : Oh my god

- Natasha : It's fine, it's not attractive but I accept it

- y/n : Yeah, well, you snore when you're exhausted after sex

Two can play at this game.

- Natasha : No I don't

- y/n : You keep telling yourself that

- Natasha : I don't. You're lying

Denial is a river in Egypt.

- Bucky : Hey

- Natasha : Hey Buck

- Bucky : Where were you two?

- y/n : Out for dinner

- Bucky : Nice, want a sandwich?

- Natasha : We ate so much while we were at the restaurant

- y/n : It was so good. If you ever need a restaurant recommendation then you know who to ask

- Bucky : You'll have to take me one day

- Natasha : As friends. You're not going on a date with my girlfriend Barnes

- Bucky : No, god no

- y/n : Okay, ouch. You didn't need to sound so offended at the idea of taking me on a date Bucky. You'd be lucky to take me on a date

- Bucky : No, of course I would. I just want to show Natasha that I'm not a threat to her

No one is a threat to Natasha.

- Tony : Romanoff, why didn't you tell us it was your birthday?

- Natasha : Who told you?

- Tony : Birdboy called FRIDAY but you weren't in. I heard his message. Apparently his gift will be late because he's not had time to send it. My gift to you is a party, tomorrow

- Natasha : Tony, no. This is why I didn't tell anyone, I didn't want a party

- Tony : Too late Romanoff, I've already invited everyone

- Natasha : Great

It's a little party where me and Natasha will have to make a thirty minute appearance and then we can ditch it and watch movies or talk or read or basically do anything except be at the party.

- Natasha : Do we have to go?

- y/n : We have to make an appearance, we don't have to stay

- Natasha : Good

- y/n : What do you think you'll wear?

- Natasha : Not sure, you?

- y/n : The black skater dress I bought ages ago. You won't have to worry about other people eyeing me up if I wear that one

- Natasha : You make me sound possessive

- y/n : You are. It's fine but you are

- Natasha : Okay well at the next party I'll prove to you that I'm not possessive

I really hope she doesn't, I like having her next to me and touching me. Not even in a sexual way but just an arm around my waist or a hand on my back or holding my hand. It makes a lot of difference.

- y/n : Shhh, you hear that?

- Natasha : Hear what?

- y/n : Bucky's music. I love it, I need to teach him how to make playlists on spotify so I can steal them

- Natasha : I hear it now

- y/n : Stand up

Who cares if it's closer to the time our alarms go off then the time we go to bed? I sure as hell don't. I'm going to dance with Natasha to the distant sound of Bucky's music.

- Natasha : Are we seriously slow dancing right now?

- y/n : Yep

- Natasha : I am so in love with you Y/n

- y/n : I'm in love with you too Nat

- Bucky : Hey, What're you guys doing?

- y/n : Dancing to your music. Can't sleep?

- Bucky : Nah, it's fine though

- Steve : You guys are up early

- y/n : Dance with us

So here we are, creating core memories in the hallways at the compound to 40's music.

- Bucky : May I have this dance Miss Hill?

- Natasha : Stop being a gentleman. That's my girlfriend Barnes. Come here Roger's, let's dance

- y/n : Lips off my girlfriend Steve or I'll floor you

- Steve : Yes Y/n

- Natasha : And you say I'm the protective one

- y/n : I never denied that I was protective

Only she denied that she was protective. And it's not like Nat needs protecting, I'm just weary of Steve considering he kissed my girlfriend.

- Natasha : Alright, that's enough. I want my girlfriend back

- Bucky : I can't dance with Steve. That's queer

- y/n : Bucky, it's okay to be gay now. And two guys dancing together doesn't automatically mean they're gay

- Bucky : I don't know if I can

- y/n : I identify as queer, Nat as bi, Wanda as pan. I promise there is nothing wrong with being gay nowadays

- Steve : We don't have to Buck

- Bucky : It's fine. Can this just not leave us four?

- Natasha : Of course

I'm not offended by Bucky acting a little weird about dancing with Steve. He was born in a different time and it'll take him a while to adapt to
being around in today's society. He's fine with me and Nat most of the time, he just looks away when we kiss or do anything romantic but that's fine. It's nice not to feel like an exhibition so Tony and Bruce and most of the guys to stare at.
