DiMera Dungeon
Bo is back inside the cell trying to talk to Hope but Hope is still in shock staring blankly at Bo
Marlena enters with Rafe and Abe
Steve - Hey Marlena , thank you for coming , did Abe prepare you
Marlena - yes he has. Marlena glances in at Hope, rafe I'll need you to keep all officers and medical personal to woman only.
Rafe - of course
Marlena - next iam going to ask the 3 of you to leave. I think Bo and I should handle this on our own.
Abe - ok we will be right outside if you need us
Marlena - please keep everyone out until I tell you otherwise
Rafe - I'll make sure
Steve - I'm going to head to.the hospital meet up with Kayla I'll see you all there
Marlena - good thank you
Abe , Rafe and Steve leave the dungeon leaving Marlena , Bo and Hope behind
Marlena slowly makes her way to the cell
She kneels down next to Bo and gives him a reassuring smile
Marlena - speaking , slowly and calmly Hope, hi
Hope is still staring blankly at marlena
Rocking back and forth
Marlena - Hope I want you to look at me , it's me Marlena , I'm going to count to 3 and I want you to take slow deep breaths , cam you do that for me ?
Hope - doesn't reply , instead a couple of tears come out of her eyes
Marlena - Hope do you recognize that it's me Marlena ?
Hope - slowly nods her head
Marlena - oh , good , do you think you can take some deep breaths for me on the count of 3
Hope - slowly nods her head again, still staring blankly at Marlena
Marlena - good , ok 1, 2, 3 take a deep breath
Hope - takes a deep breath
Marlena - great , your doing great
Next I want to help you get these cloths on can you let me do that
Hope - slowly nods her head , tears running down her face
Marlena - slowly Marlena and Bo stand up Hope - do you need help to stand up
Hope - shakes her head no , slowly she stands up wincing in pain
Bos eyes start to well up with tears but he's able to hold it back for Hope
Marlena - ok great , your doing just great
Now I'm going to ask Bo to hold the sheet up , kinda like a curtain , and iam going to help you get dressed , ok ?
Hope - takes a deep breath, her eyes shift from looking at Marlena to looking at Bo , Marlena makes her way to Hope
Marlena ok we are going to give Bo the sheet ok ? And I'm going to help you get dressed , marlena is now standing with Bo right next to Hope
Hope - nods her head , slowly she unwraps the sheet fron around her body , she hands the sheet to Bo , then stares at the ground
Marlena , fantastic your doing so good
Bo can't help but to look at Hope as Marlena is helping her to get dressed
He sees she has lost some weight , she has bruises all over her, including on her back , Bo turns his head away as tears start to fall from his eyes
Marlena - finishes getting Hope dressed , well there you go. Your doing so good
Hope - looks at Marlena, falls forward and starts crying heavily in Marlenas arms
Marlena - it's ok Hope , I'm here,
Bo puts the sheet down and puts his hand on the back of Hopes head as Hope cries uncontrollably in Marlenas arms
Salem Hospital
Larry arrives in the ER , just ahead of steve , Larry is unconcious
Kayla is in the ER waiting
Emt 1 - Doctor Johnson , the patient didn't regain consiousness, he has multiple wounds previous to the altercation he was in earlier.
Emt 2 - hands kayla some paperwork
Kayla put him in exam room 1
Steve - you ok there sweetness
Kayla - looks at larry, he's cuffed to the gurney, I can't do this, I can't , if it were up to me I would let him die right there on that gurney , tears form in Kaylas eyes.
Steve - steve hugs Kayla as he says Hopes going to be here soon. Maybe you should just concentrate on taking care of her, let someone else take care of Welch
Kayla - yes , I think that's best , kayla picks up the phone at the nurses desk
Back at the dungeon , 2 female Emts arrive to take Hope to the hospital.
They wheel the gurney into the cell
Marlena - Hope, the emts are here now , can you get up on the gurney or do you need help
Bo - glances at Marlena
Then back to Hope
Hope - slowly moves to the gurney and tries to climb up on her own , she winces in pain
Bo - Bos eyes meet Hopes , Hope quickly looks at the ground , at almost a whisper Bo says let me help you
Hope - nods
Bo - picks Hope up and gently places her on the gurney , he pushes the hair out of her face and kisses her on her forehead
The 2 Emts come over and go to buckle Hope on to the gurney , the second they touch the buckles , it brings Hope right back to Larry trying to tie her up
Hope starts screaming , No !!!! No!!!!! She's trying to get off the gurney , tears start streaming down her face.
Marlena - it is not necessary to buckle her
Emt 1- it's standard procedure Dr Evans
Marlena - I said it is not necessary to buckle her did I make myself clear
Hope is seated up on the gurney , her legs pulled into a ball, she is back to rocking back and forth tears streaming down her face
Marlena - turns to Bo , and quietly says , we don't know what will upset her , we are going to have to thread very lightly
Bo - looks at Hope -and thinks to himself , I was too late , I was too damn late
Closing screen is Hope rocking, on the gurney tears streaming down her face
