ER - Exam room 1
Larry- wakes up, goes to move and realizes he's handcuffed, damn it, Larry sees Kayla walking by but doesnt recognize her excuse me, excuse me doctor
Kayla - turns to an officer behind the curtain that Larry couldn't see
Officer see to it that Mr Welch is properly secured, we will be moving him to the 5th floor
Larry - oh I see , Doctor Johnson , or should I say Doctor Brady
Kayla - it's Doctor Johnson
Larry - will you be my Doctor ?
Kayla - no , I won't , you see I can't morally or ethically be your doctor because if it were up to me you would be dead right now and the mere sight of you makes me sick
Larry - oh me oh my ,is that a threat
Kayla - no , not at all just a warning. If you'll excuse me
Larry - is fancy face here yet ? Says Larry with a laugh
Kayla - your going to pay for what you've done, I heard they don't take to kindly former district attorneys in prison
And with that kayla leaves , as 2 more officers and a large Male nurse arrive to move Larry to the 5th floor
Nurses station different floor
Elevator doors open and Kayla walks out
To find steve waiting
Steve - hey where did you go?
Kayla - I ran down to check on welch ,they are transporting him now up to the 5th floor
Steve isn't that the psych unit
kayla - with a sly smile , yes it is ,
At that moment Hope is wheeled in , she is still sitting up on the gurney in a ball position , rocking back and forth
Marlena , Bo ,2 female Emts and 2 female officers follow Hope behind the gurney
Kayla - marlena can you go with Hope into room 1
Marlena - yes
Kayla - I need to talk to Bo for just a moment I'll be right there
Marlena follows the 2 Emts into room 1 with Hope on the gurney
Steve joins Kayla as she motions for Bo to sit down on the couch in the waiting area
Kayla - puts her hand on Bos knee , steve stands behind Bo and puts his hand on Bos shoulder
Kayla - listen, I'm going to perform a full medical exam on Hope and Marlena will be staying with me if Hope should need to talk. We are going to take things very slowly and we are going to be very gentle
Bo - I dont know how she's going to get through this Kay . I don't , says a very despondent Bo
Steve - she made it this far Bo , she is stronger then we all give her credit for
Kayla - marlena and I will take very good care of her , we all love her. Kayla gets up and hugs Bo , then puts her hand on his face as she gives him a gentle reassuring smile , then kayla turns and leaves , she looks at steve and nods befire leaving
Steve - comes from behind the couch to sit next to Bo, it's going to be alright Hope’s in the best hands with Kay and Marlena she couldn't get any better care
Bo - turns to steve and unexpectedly starts crying
Hopes Exam room
Kayla enters to find Marlena hasn't gotten very far with Hope
Kayla - slowly moves to a blank staring Hope, hi sweetie, Hope honey, marlena and I need to do a couple of things and once we are done you can take a nice long hot shower. Hope , do you understand
Hope we are going to have to do a rape kit.
Marlena we will take as much time as you need, and Kayla and I are right here
Hope - blank stare starts to fade , but it is replaced by uncontrollable crying , Hope extends her arms , kayla , kayla Hope says as kayla hugs Hope
Closing screen is Kayla and Hope hugging as Marlena puts her hand on Hopes back
