Salem court house
Larry sits at the table by himself, in a wheel chair , his face has scratch marks from where Hope scratched him, he's got a black eye and his face is swollen after taking a beating from Bo
Rafe , Julie , Doug ,Victor, Maggie  are in the courthouse
Victor - looks like my son did a great job handling Welch says Victor with a smirk
All those able please stand , The Honorable Judge Smith will preside over today's case
Larry remains seated in his  wheel chair
Judge Smith - Good morning , please be seated
DA - Good Morning Judge Smith
Judge Smith Good Morning , looks at Larry sitting by himself at his table , Mr Welch are you without representation this morning
Larry tries to gets up  to stand and speak when Kristen walks in with a gentleman in a suit , Kristen sits down behind Larry
Judge Smith - Mr Gonser , how are you will you be representing Mr Welch today
Mr. Gonser - yes your honor , Mr Gonser enters and sits down next to Larry
Larry - slowly in pain  turns around to see Kristen , Iam sorry your honor, I ve never even spoken to Mr Gonser , may I request a 5 minute recess
Judge Smith - you have 5 minutes Mr Welch no more , the judge bags his gavel, 5 minute recess  and gets up to leave
Rafe - what the hell is going on here
Victor - you should have let me handle things like I said
Maggie - Victor what are you talking about
Victor - Maggie , I would have taken care of Welch so Hope wouldn't have to worry
Maggie - Victor!
Victor - please Maggie you know who I was when you married me , iam not going to let Welch get away with hurting Hope anymore  just like I wasn't going to let the DiMeras get away with hurting you , if it wasn't for that heart attack things would have been handled very differently
Maggie - well maybe that heart attack was a blessing
Doug - normally I wouldn't agree with your methods Victor , but whatever it is you need to do , do it
Julie - Doug , I'm with Maggie on this , let the court handle it
Rafe - you all need to stop this right now or I may have to put you all behind bars and I don't want to do that
Larry turns to Mr. Gonser what the hell is going on here.  I'm perfectly capable of defending myself
Mr. Gonser turns to Kristen
Kristen - No , I don't think so , you see you and I have something in common , we want to bring down the Bradys just as much as you
Larry - who's we ?
Kristen - my brothers and I, so you will take Mr Gonser on as your legal cousel or you will pay in  other ways , do you understand
Larry - laughs what could you possibly do to me
Kristen - leans in close to Larry , you killed my sister years ago, your lucky my father didn't take care of you then , my brothes and I have plan in place for you and the Bradys  now do we have an understanding Larry dear
Larry - in a low , frustrated tone yes , I understand
Kristen - good , now you will just do whatever it is our lawyer tells you , I'll be in  touch soon
Larry - where are you going , your not staying ?
Kristen - No , I don't need to , Kristen gets up and looks over at Rafe, Victor , Maggie , Doug and Julie , with a sly smile
Rafe - she's up to no good
Victor - really ? I didn't know that , I thought she was here bringing us coffee
Maggie - I'm not sure what she's up to , but I'm sure her brothers are in on it
Judge Smith renters the courtroom
All those able please stand , The Honorable Judge Smith will preside over today's case
Salem Hospital nurses Station
Shawn and Ciara have arrived and meet Kayla at the nurses station
Shawn - hey aunt Kayla , how is she
Kayla - I'm sorry to have to have been the one to inform you of what happened to your mom
I think your dad just has so much on his plate and all he wanted to do was comfort and be there for your mom
Ciara - I'm glad you called us, now we can be here to help mom and dad. With deep sadness in her voice and eyes  I , know all to well what my mom is going through right now
Kayla - reaches put abd tales ciaras hand, im not trying to diminish what happened to you , but the physicality of what Larry did to your mom is one of  the worst cases of brutality I have ever seen on my career ciara.  I née you both to prepare yourselves for that
Shawn - in a low , angry tone Dad and I should have made sure he was dead after the last time he tried to kill mom and Belle
Kayla - you can't change the past Shawn , you can only move forward and right now your mom needs you to be strong for her and in all honesty so does your dad
Ciara -  none of this would have happened if I had not argued with my mom that night , she would have stayed at my place she wouldn't have been in the parking garage
Kayla - Larry is relentless when it comes to revenge on your mom , if not that night he would gave found another way , another time. Don't blame yourself , Days kayla as she looks in ciaras eyes  and then hugs her as ciara looks over Kaylas shoulder at a disappointed Shawn
Shawn  - cuts Kaylas embrace of ciara short , can we go see mom now
Kayla - yes , of course , let me just go check if she's up , I'll be right back
Kayla leaves to go to Hopes Room
Ciaras eyes meet Shawns
Shawns face shows his disappointment
Ciara - I told Ben I couldn't see him for awhile
Shawn - laughs , couldn't see him for awhile , really ciara , too little too late , maybe if you hadn't disobeyed mom in the first place , maybe she wouldn't be here
Ciara - with tears in her eyes , you act like I wanted this to happen. I would never want mom to be hurt .
Shawn - you hurt mom every day you were with that murder , come on ciara think , and don't bother defending him to me
Closing screen is Bo coming out to hear his children fighting
