EPISODE 40
Salem hospital waiting area
Marlena, Kayla and Kim are talking in the waiting area when jen arrives
Jen - hi , kayla thank you for calling me to let me know Hope was being released.
I went over to their place and dusted a bit and I stocked their fridge , it's been quite awhile since anyone has stayed there, oh and I grabbed Hope some clothing so she has something to change into when she's ready to be discharged
Marlena - they've been staying at Victor's Hope thought it would help Bo to be close to Victor until his memory came back
Kim - I think it's a much better idea for them to go home to their own home, they haven't been home since Bo returned
Kayla - not that I'm a Victor supporter but the added security there may bring Hope some comfort
Marlena - or it could work in the reverse
Jen - how is that Marlena
Marlena - my medical opinion of Hope right now is that she is suffering from post traumatic stress. That many people in Victor's house could trigger things for Hope.
My opinion is she needs a little more peace and I think she will find that at her own home.
Kim - less people , less questions , less people making a mistake around an already very sensitive subject.
Jen - I do however think it's important she never be left alone. Iam concerned about what happened the other day , we don't want a repeat of that
Marlena - yes , yes I agree she can't be left alone at this time.
Kim - takes out her agenda book , ok ladies so let's each take a day.
Kayla - I think we should include Julie , Maggie, Ciara, Belle, and Claire in on this .
Marlena - I agree
Kim - let's hope Bo is able to convince her to go home in the first place
At that moment Hopes Hospital room door opens, Bo steps out but doesn't stray far from the door
Bo - kay, can you come here ? Bo motions for kayla to come by Hope's room
Kayla excuse me a moment
Kayla makes her way to Bo, we're you able to convince her to go home
Bo - yes, but I think it's best for us to go to our house not back to Victor's
Kayla - well little brother great minds think alike , jen was over at your place and she cleaned up a bit and stocked your fridge and we were all just going over the calendar figuring out what days each of us will stay
Bo- what would I do without you guys , your the best , thank you
Kayla - well I'll go over and sign Hopes discharge papers , get her a wheel chair , just standard procedure to wheel patients out
Oh and I'll send Jen in she brought Hope a change of clothing
Bo - perfect, thank you again kay.
Kayla - don't thank me Bo, I would do anything for her and for you too , kayla grabs Bos hand and squeezes it
Bo smiles at kayla
Kayla ok ilk send jen over and fill those discharge papers out , kayla let's go of Bo's hand and heads back over to talk to jen
Hopes hospital room
Hope looks on as Bo stands talking to kayla
She paces the floor of her room
Hope - looks back out at kayla and sees Larry behind her , Hope says to herself he's not there , he's not there , he's in jail , she closes her eyes and opens them again to find larry is gone
Hope - keeps pacing the floor , she talks to herself as she does , I can do this, I can , I'm going to go home and I'm going to be on. Hope looks at her hands all bandaged , her hands tremble , i can do this , I can do this
Bo - re enters the room to hear Hope talking to herself , he slowly makes his way over to Hope , he sees her hands trembling. You can do this he says confidently and Iam going to be there every step of the way .
Bo, gently takes Hope's trembling hands in his , he puts then to his chest and looks Hope in her eyes.
A knock comes on the door
Kayla - discharge papers are all signed and ready , wheel chair is outside the door here , I'm going to send jen on with that change of clothing
Bo - ok kay , thank you , Bo's gaze never leaves Hope's . You hear that your all ready to go home
Hope - hands are still on Bos chest , her focus on Bos eyes , a couple of tears falk from Hope's eyes , im as ready as I'll ever be
A knock on the door comes
Bo - is that you jen ?
Jen - yes it is
Bo - come on in
Hope - slowly pulls her hands from Bos chest , her eyes move to the doorway
Jen - slowly enters the room with a change of clothing for Hope , hey there cuz, so I ran to your house and picked out this out fit for you and I can help you get changed , is that OK
Hope - nods , then looks back at Bo
Bo- that's my cue to go ! I'll be right outside by the nurses station should you need me , Bo gives Hope a smile , then exits her room
Jen - OK there cuz let's get you out of this hospital gown and into these cloths do you can go home
Hope - has a hospital gown on , with a bathrobe over it , she goes to.take the bathrobe off and winces on pain
Jen - let me help you , Jen puts the clothing down on the bed ad she helps Hope out of the bathrobe and hospital gown , this is the first time jen is seen the extent of Hope's injuries, she takes a deep breath and then grabs Hope's clean shirt

Bo, kim, marlena and Kayla talk as they wait
Bo - I have to thank all 3 of you for coming together with this schedule Bo says as he hands kim her agenda book
Kim - that's what family is for you know
Hopes hospital room door opens and for the first time since being admitted Hope steps out of the room
Kayla gets up and rushes over
Kayla - ok, I know this is going to sound crazy but standard procedure is that all patients get wheeled out
Hope - nods and smiles at Kayla
Bo, marlena , Kim join jen Hope and kayla by Hope's hospital room door
Bo - helps Hope into her wheelchair
Bo kneels down by Hope , you ready to go home
Hope- eyes shift to Bos
Closing screen is Bo kneeling by Hope who's in the wheelchair
