Bo - what are you two fighting about ?
This is the last thing your mom needs .
Shawn - I'm sorry Dad, I was just trying to straighten ciara out on a couple of things
Bo -well this isn't the time or the place to do that
Ciara - im sorry too dad your right, is mom up to seeing us
Bo - yes, she is , but let me make this clear to both of you whatever it is the two of you are arguing about it finishes here , I don't even want your mom getting a hint that you two have been arguing , she gets upset very easily and the last thing she's going to want to hear is that her children aren't getting along , do you understand me
Shawn - yeah
Ciara - hugs Bo , sorry Dad
Bo - ok now before we go in , I need both of you to try your damn hardest not to act shocked by your mom's physical appearance , she's been through alot and her injuries are severe
Shawn - aunt Kayla explained , and your right dad iam sorry , mom comes first
Bo- ok good , he hugs Shawn and Ciara
Hopes Room
Kayla - hi sweetie , kayla looks and sees hops never ate the dinner or the chocolate cake she had brought her the night before, once Bo comes back with ciara and Shawn I'm going to go get you something else to eat. You have to eat something Hope
Hope is sitting in bed , she looks exhausted , she speaks slowly with a sad long off look on her face and in her eyes
I'm really not hungry Kay
Kayla - you need to keep your strength up Hope , come on whatever you want you tell me, I'll get it ! Even if I hsve to leave the hospital to do so
Hope - I, I really can't eat Kay, please , my stomach is in knots, my head is clouded with bad thoughts. Im in pain. I just can't eat right now.
Kayla - ok , im sorry Hope I don't mean to push you, we're all just worried about you and we care about you
Hope - wincing in pain slowly gets up out of bed , I know , I know. Can I tell you something
Kayla - kayla helps Hope up out of bed , you can tell me anything, you know that
Hope - looks around her hospital room and with her voice trembling, iam falling apart inside , I feel like I'm losing my mind , i know where iam , I know he's not here but , but, I hear his voice and I feel like he's here with me and I can't get it to stop , I can't make it stop , i'm afraid Larry is going to get into my head again like before when I kept seeing and hearing him...he was with me wherever I went and I almost went crazy and I'm afraid that's going to happen again. (Insert memory from 2002 kidnapping )
Kayla - I'm not going to lie to you Hope , I can't say when you'll stop feeling this way, all I can say is that we are all here for you. Your family , your friends whatever you need ,we are here. Kayla turns around to see Bo back at the door. Bo , shawn and Ciara are waiting to see you are you ready to see them ?
Hope - nods her head yes. Kayla hugs Hope
Kayla - if you need anything I'll be right at the nurses station , you just tell that brother of mine to come get me ok ?
Hope - smiles slightly , and nods her head
Kayla goes to leave before she does Hope calls her
Hope - Kay , thank you
Kayla - you are most welcome , kayla smiles at Hope then leaves Hopes Room ,
She greets Bo, Shawn and Ciara outside Hopes room , don't forget what I said you three , kayla gives Bos hand a gentle squeeze
Bo - thanks Kay , Bo opens the door to usher his children into their mothers room
Hopes back is turned to them , she feels ashamed, but wants to see her children
Bo- Hope I have ciara and Shawn with me, Kay said your ready to see them
Hope - wipes the tears from her eyes and turns around to see her family
Salem court house
Mr. Gonser (Larry's attorney) judge Smith as you can see my client suffered a great deal at the hands of Salem PD yesterday before his arrest
Ms. Mendler (Salem DA) judge Smith thise wounds of which Mr Gonser speaks of we're not at the hands of the Salem PD, most of the wounds are actually self defense wounds inflicted upon Mr Welch in self defense by the victim Hope Brady
Judge Smith - Iam well aware of Mr Welchs past with Mrs Brady
Mr Gonser - judge smith let me save us all some time here , Mr Welch is not seeking bail
Larry shoots his lawyer Mr Gonser a shocked liook.
Julie - well it looks like things are going our way
Maggie - I agree I'm Just surprised is all I thought for sure Larry works seek bail
Victor - don't be fooled ladies he's up to something , he's a rotten snake in the grass don't let this smoke and mirrors show fool you
Rafe - I have to agree with Victor here , they are up to something
Doug - look if it keeps Welch behind bars all the better
Judge Smith - bangs his gavel , order in the court , order in the court ,
Mr Welch you are to be remitted to Salem correctional facility until you are to appear in court for the charges of 1st degree Rape and attempted murder
Larry - speaks without turn , attempted murder ? Your honor I
Judge Smith - I have been presented with the evidence Mr Welch and Rape and Attempted murder fit the crime. The judge bands hos gavel , court is out of session
Rafe , Victor Maggie , Julie , and Doug stand up as the judge leaves , but Doug cannot contain his anger and before anyone even knows what's going on Doug has already made his way over to where Larry is being led out of court
Doug - calls after larry , your not going to get away with what you've done this time Larry !!! do you hear me!!! I hope you rot in hell , you bastard ! If the court system doesn't take care of you I will !
Closing screen is Julie , Maggie , and Rafe trying to hold Doug back
