Secrets Pierre Gasly

Chapter 8

"Yeah? It's Sarah Leclerc speaking" I pick it up "Sarah hey, Charles gave me your number" the familiar voice answered the phone...

"Max?" I furrow my eyebrows as to why the Dutch driver would be calling me. I mean I was great friends with max, but we were never practically close friends. "Yeah, hey, look I don't want to bother you just Charles told me how you are going to Monaco to help Arthur and I think it would be easier for both you and him if you would just take my jet," he says quickly kinda shocking me. "Um, yeah oh, you don't have to Max we will be fine-" "No seriously it's no problem Sarah, just call me when Arthur gets released and I get the jet ready for you guys" "Wow, okay um thank you so much, Max, that's um really nice of you" I stutter still in complete shock. "No problem, I will be in Monaco too during the break so feel free to call me in case you need anything" "Okay, thank you again Max"

I save his number in my phone "So um, no need to book a flight for us" I tell Laura as I sit down next to her "She furrows her eyebrows at me "Max is giving us his jet to travel" she raises her eyebrows higher "Yeah I don't know why either, I guess he is just being nice" I shrug at her. We spend the next 2 hours figuring out everything. We put a list together of what we need and what we need to do. Charles finally arrives back with food "Omg yes!" I exclaim as I see the food bags "I am starving!" he hands me a box"Hello to you too!" he grins at me also handing me a drink "Hello Bonobo" I grin he throws a napkin at me for the nickname "Shut up!" but I just laugh at him

"Laura? Um, cheese or pepperoni?" he asks looking at my best friend "Cheese please" she smiles at my brother as he walks over to her putting the box next to her. He looks at her computer for a second "What are you doing?" he asks as he keeps staring at the computer. "Just some work, I forgot this and I am a little behind, fixing the trade fees" she explains, I just see how my brother is utterly confused about what she is talking about but tried his best to look interested in it. I just chuckle to myself which catches Charles's attention earning me a quick glare "Little man is still sleeping?" I nod. "Oh Max called me, offering me, Arthur his private jet," I tell him kind of questioning him about it. "Yeah, he was there when Mom told the Doc our decisions he just kind of instantly offered as it would be easier for Arthur" he explains.

 I nod thinking "Great so now everyone knows I will be in Monaco" I sigh knowing well now Pierre also knows it. Charles just gives me a knowing look "Did he say anything to you?" "No, he was barely able to say hello to me" I sigh "He obviously wasn't expecting to see you," Charles says taking a slice from my box "Obviously but really? After 3 years he has nothing to say to me?" "Well if we are being honest, it's kind of you who has something to tell him," he says motioning to the door "No," but before I could continue a sleepy boy come out of the room "Mama, you are back!" he runs over to me climbing in my lap "Did you have a great nap buddy?" I ask kissing the top of his head, he just nods cuddling into my chest. I see Charles smile at us"Mom, is coming here soon" I nod at him

About an hour later mom did come, I just sat at the kitchen table watching my mom and Charles bond with Ollie, he was so smiley around them, it melted my heart. But guilt also filled my body thinking about how I kept everyone away from Ollie, taking away many opportunities for them to make memories and have good times before I know it a tear rolled down my face "Stop that" Laura wipes the tear from my face putting her hand on top of mine "Stop that right now,  you didn't tell them for a reason. You didn't want people to know so you did what you felt was the best okay?" she holds my chin making me look at her "You did what you did no regrets okay?" "I just feel like I took too many opportunities from them of making memories" I sigh "They are making memories now, and from now they will just make more okay?" I nod slightly against her hand "I don't know what I would do without you" "Die" she grins at me I let out a laugh hugging her.

5 days later

"Okay so Arthur is being transported to the airport he will be there by the time we will arrive," my mom tells me as she drives us to the airport when we arrive at the plane I see Max talking to Arthur who has been put into a transportable bed that fit into the plane easily "Max, what are you doing here?" I give him a confused look after giving him a hug "Oh, I just wanted to see you guys off" he smiles, but I see his eyes dart over to Laura who is holding a sleepy Ollie in her arms "And who is this little guy?" he ask observing Ollie "Um this is Laura my best friend and that's Ollie" I say quickly, Max is looking at him but holds out his hand to Laura "Max Verstappen" he says to her. but his eyes quickly go back to Ollie and then to me. He walks over, as we watch people help Arthur on the plane 

"So you had his son," he says without looking at me "How-" "Sarah that little boy is the spitting image of you, plus I remember you throwing up almost every day before you and Pierre broke up, then you disappear for 3 years and turn back up with a kid that looks around 3. It doesn't take a genius to figure it out" he says looking at me I just  "So, you just pretend that you are a stupid dutchie" I giggle as he rolls his eyes "Pierre, doesn't know does he?" I shake my head no. "No, and it needs to stay that way" He nods They call on me to get on the plane. Max gives me a hug goodbye

"Just a heads up then," I look at him "Pierre will be in Monaco during the summer break" 

Okay yeah I know an other cliffhanger. But I need to build the story up slowly. Also I made the mistake of not editing yesterday and I am waaay to messed up this morning to do so forgive me if there are mistakes.
