I just spent the next few days with everyone at home, playing games watching movies, just hanging out, and doing Arthur's exercises, and slowly but surely he was starting to feel a lot better, much easier for him to move. I also slowly felt my mind clear out finding a little peace being with Ollie mostly helped a lot, my grandparents wanted to spend some time with him and as Ollie was really excited about being with them we decide he will spend Friday, Saturday, Sunday with them at their weekend house with my cousin and their kids, it would honestly be good for him to spend some time with kids his age. "Be good baby" I kiss his head as my grams came to pick him up. "Bye momma"
An hour later after a long shower, I lay on my bed with Laura in my towel. "You know what? I am going with red" I say getting up to take on the red pantsuit I look in the mirror and I feel a little self-conscious as I look at myself since the suit is pretty tight, since giving birth I lost the weight, but my body has changed a lot, and as someone who always struggled with her body image, it was really hard to feel confident, after giving birth I only wore baggy stuff for nearly a year before feeling confident enough to just wear a tighter t-shirt. "Stop" Laura stands behind me "You look absolutely stunning S," She says hugging me from behind, "Go and fucking enjoy that date have fun babes okay?" I nod "Alright, alright" I smile at her. I hear the doorbell ring we walk out to the living room.
"Yeah, all good" I hear Sammy and Charles exchange some words before they look over at me "Wow" Sammy smiles at me I giggle a little "You look beautiful," He says giving me a hug "Thank you" I smile, he gives me a bouquet of red roses "Well I got the color right," he says as the roses match my dress. "Hi, I am Laura the best friend" L pops next to me holding her hand out to him. "Sammy" he shakes her hand "You hurt her and nobody will ever find your body ever again," she says to him while having a charming smile on her face like she was completing him. I and Charles both let out a chuckle seeing Sammy's eyes widen "She is kidding" I laugh, Laura takes the flowers from me "I really am not" she says still smiling then walks away to put the roses in the water.
"Have fun guys, keep her safe" Charles says shaking his hand "Just FYI, I would help her," he says looking in Laura's direction "Okay, okay enough" I laugh giving Charles a hug "Have fun S, just not too much" he laughs earning a slap on his shoulder from me, he goes to mess my hair up but I catch his hand "If you touch my hair I will fucking kill you," I warn him, and finally me and Sammy leave "Okay so turns out, Sophie, Marcus, Amy, Kimmi and Dave are all going to be at the event," he says while driving "No fucking way, omg I haven't seen them in forever" I smile, we all went to school together, the seven of us used to hang out all the time, we were still in sort of touch but haven't met in person in years. We arrive at the venue, "By the way, that dress looks stunning on you" he says as he opens the door for me "Thank you" he kisses my cheek then we walk inside
"Omg, it really is Sarah fucking Leclerc" Sophie brings me into a tight hug "Hey, Soph" I hug her back tightly "When did you get back to Monaco?" Marcus asks as I hug everyone "About 2 weeks ago, Arthur needs to do physical therapy because of his crash and he didn't want someone random to do it with, and I was the only one really available to help him out" I shrug "How is he?" Kimmi asks as we sit down at our table "Doing much better now, but sadly it's not likely for him to sit back into the car before mid-September" "Wait then what about the races then? He won't get to race anymore this year?" Dave asks confused I shake my head "Not likely if the doc clears him then maybe Monza, but he might have to sit out the rest sadly,"
The event was quite fun we got in some drinks, and we just used the night to catch up with each other, as we all basically lived on the other sides of the world from each other and a lot has happened to everyone in the past years, "How long are you guys in town for?" I ask as we stand outside the building. They all were staying here for one more week, "That's perfect, how about a boat day on Monday? I ask for Charles's yacht and we can take it out for a ride" "Sounds perfect" We all agree to meet at the pier at 9 on Monday, exchanging numbers before saying our goodbyes. I get back into the car with Sammy, "Hey, um would you wanna come over to mine?" he asks as he starts to drive "Yeah, I mean we kind of can't call this a date" I laugh, "I know, I just found out they were all in town and I thought it would be nice to bring the gang back together" "No, it was perfect, thank you, I really needed to socialize a little" I laugh as we pull up to his place
"Well, this is an upgrade from your dad's place" I laugh looking around his flat "Tell me about it" he laughs "Movies and hot chocolate?" he smiles referring to our old traditions I nod smiling "Hey you want something comfier?" he asks pointing at my outfit, "Oh please" he nods walking to his room, I pull out my phone to text the group chat, "Hey, probably staying over at Sammy," "Have fun-L ;)" "Shut up, but you too ;)" "NO, I want to sleep tonight-Art" I just laugh at the texts putting my phone away. "Here" Sammy gives me a hoodie and sweat pant I smile thanking him as I go to change in the bathroom,
I sit down next to and he gives me a hot chocolate, we watch a movie but we just chat the whole way through it "Hey um I kinda have a question" he says looking at me nervously. "Shoot" "Well it's not really a question, yes it is but I also kinda have to tell you something um-" "Okay relax, what's up?
"So....
Hehe... Sorry for no update yesterday, I had a SHIT tone of work then I went out with my friends and I got rather drunk and stayed out around 3 am so yeah, but to make it up, double update today, so expect an other part later today :) at least yall don't have wait for so long to find out the cliffhanger hihi.
