Chapter 9

1 week later

"Okay just bring all of them" I sigh as I can't decide on which pillow for him to bring "No, what Sarah there are like 20 pillows here, I am not going to bring all of them to you" he argues as he stands in my apartment in Hungary "Fine, then bring the big one and the one with the cats on it, also bring Ollie's pillow the one with dinos on it," I say reducing my needs for my lovely pillows "Okay then I got everything now, the flight leaves at 12, I'll be there with you guys around 3" "Okay, be safe love you" "love ya too" we hang up the phone 

We have been in Monaco for more than a week now, Arthurs's physical therapy is going well but is also pretty painful for him, sadly he had a long way to recover before he could be back to his normal form. Arthur and Ollie get along really well they play almost every day with Arthurs's small car collection, it's like 2 small kids, to be honest, but they just love to spend time together. "Okay I am off to get food, I'll be back," I say to Arthur who insisted that Ollie stays with him and not Laura while I am out, I give a kiss to Ollie's head "Be good okay?" I smile at him he just nods grinning "Bye boys, call me if you need anything"

I drove into the city to my absolute favorite restaurant, but I was about 20 mins too early the food was not yet done, so I decided to get some things as I am already here "Hey, girl, you need anything from the store?" I call Laura as I walk in "Nah I am all good, or no wait you could get me a bottle of wine while you are there, I have a long day of zoom meetings, Imma need something to set me off tonight" she says while yawning, "Hmm are you sure its wine you need?" I ask smirking to myself, and I hear her let out a snort "No, but wine is all I am gonna get sadly" I laugh "I'll drop it off for you when I off from Lan" "Thank you love you" "Love ya too bitch" I laugh hanging up, I look through my text seeing Charles telling me they packed up the stuff and now on their way to the airport when someone bumps into me making me fall on my ass

"Ow," I rub my elbow "Oh god I am so sorry," a strong french accent says from above me holding a hand out I take the hand as he helps me up, and I finally look up at his face. "Sarah, hey" his green eyes lock into mine "I am sorry I wasn't looking," he says quickly "Clearly" I mutter rubbing my elbow, shooting a small glare at him. He looks away and awkward silence falls on us. "H-How is Arthur?" he asks seemingly having no clue how to talk to me "He is getting somewhat better, physical therapy is going well so far" I answered him quietly. He nods "Look Sarah I-" "There you are I didn't know where you went!" a tall blonde girl appears next to him. "I got the wine I was talking about last night babe" she holds up the bottle to him "Oh Emily sorry I just-" she looks at me and I instantly recognize her.

She was the girl Pierre kissed that night not even 3 hours after breaking up with me, I remember her from the pictures. "Hi, I am Emily" she smiles holding her hand out to me "I-I am Sarah" I shake her hand, I take a glance over at Pierre and see his face filled with guilt doing his best to avoid my eyes "I- It was great to meet you, Emily, um Pierre" I nod at them "I gotta go now," I say quickly turning around going to the cashier check out, I could feel Pierre's eyes burning a hole in my back, but I was way more focused on the pain burning in my chest. I quickly pay for my stuff and rush to my car throwing everything in it and sitting in it. I take a deep shaky breath trying my best to hold my tears back. 

I walked into the apartment Charles was just coming out of Ollie's room "Hey finally you are back" he comes over to hug me, but I just step away from him making him confused. "How could you not tell me," I ask my face showing zero emotion "How can he- How can he date her?" I ask and he slowly realizes what I am talking about. "And you want me to fucking tell him? Charlie for fuck sake, he is dating the girl he kissed just 3 hours after he ended our 3 fucking year relationship!" Charles looked down at his shoes for a second, "Look, we just got you back a month ago, an- and I didn't want to tell you because I knew that it would be just a bad stab at you and I just didn't-" he stutters "Yeah I mean it was so much better to just run into them in person than my friends and brother telling me" I scoff, he looks at me "I am sorry, I was just trying to figure out a good time tell you" he says guilty, I sigh "Yeah I know I am sorry, just this is just a very low blow" I sigh, he just brings me into a hug

"I am gonna take a shower then get ready I am going over to Lando," I tell him he nods "Do you need me to look after Ollie?" "Nah, Mamie wanted to spend time with her grandson so she is having him for the night" Charles nods. I go to knock on Laura's door she waves signaling that she is on a call I just nod and put 2 bottles of wine on her table, she grins at me mouthing thank you. After a long shower, I get dressed and head over to Lando's place with a whole bunch of food and snacks from Hungary.
