Chapter 13

"Okay, who was that cutie?" Laura asks when I walk back to her, "Oh, that's Sami, we went to the same school" I say giving her the dress, but she still looks at me with curious eyes "He is just a friend L." I said shrugging, "Really, and why did he hand you his phone?" I sigh "Were you spying on me?" I lift my eyebrows," "No, I just wanted to see what is taking so long, So why did he hand you his phone?" she asks again, "He asked to grab lunch sometime, and for my number" I say knowing there is no way of me not telling her. She peeps her head out of the dressing room smiling widely, "Uuu, a date" "No, just lunch," I say. "Does he know that?" she asks finally coming out of the dressing room in the red dress

"You look incredible Laura" I smile at her "Thank you" she smiles checking herself out in the mirror. "But for real S, make that lunch, a date, it's time for you to find someone," she says turning to me "I don't know L, I don't think I am ready, plus there is Ollie, and it's just too complicated" I sigh "No S, it's really not. Its time to let go of Pierre for real now, as fucking much it sucks and hurts, he chose someone else, and he is with someone else, its time for you to find someone for you who can finally make you happy bubs, you deserve that." she says standing now in front of me "And Ollie is now 3, he is a big boy now, and I am sure he would love to see his momma happy" she smiles at me, I let out a sigh "But, I don't think he meant that lunch as a date" I say "Well then make sure that after lunch, the next dinner is a date" she winks

"You are awful" I laugh at her "I know right?" she winks going back to the dressing room and changing back into her clothes. As we walk to pay for her dress she stops next to a beautiful red and black pantsuit, "Okay, you HAVE to get this" she exclaims. "It's like this was designed for you." she was right, it had a nice caught-out, with a belt to tie around the waist, and my 2 favorite colors. "I don't know" "If you don't buy it for yourself I will buy it for you," she said raising her eyebrows her hand already reaching out for the dress. "Fine" I grabbed it before she could, knowing no matter what she would buy it, and I just rather get it for myself.

After getting some food I started driving back home when my phone lit up with a message from an unknown number "So, lunch tomorrow at 1?" "Hah!" Laura grabs the phone before I could "Looks like someone is excited for a catch-up with you" she wiggles her eyebrows and I see her texting back. "L, what are you doing?" "Texting back obviously, and of course getting them details" "No, Laura, give me my phone back" but she just holds it away from me texting, I pull up at the house and reach to grab my phone again but Laura is already out of the car running into the house, I quickly get out chasing after her

"Laura! Give my phone back right fucking now!" I run into the living room, making Charles, Arthur, and Ollie look up at us confused, "It's already sent" she grins at me showing me that the text already went through "I am going to kill you" I say through gritted teeth after reading through the text "Sounds like a perfect time for a lunch date :) where are we meeting up?" I shoot an instant glare at her again "Okay, just before we have to testify at a murder trial, can we know what this is about?" Charles asks looking between me and Laura "I got your sister a date and she is mad" she giggles

"A date? With who?" Arthur pipes up. I sigh and sit down on the couch bringing Ollie into my lap "Sammi Martinez" I say playing with Ollie's hair "No way" Charles smiles "What the problem then? Sammi is an amazing guy S" Arthur quickly nods in agreement, "I know, I just" I sigh, "I have been out of the dating game for nearly 3 years, and then there is this little one" I brush my hand over Ollie's head as he slowly falls asleep in my lap "It's just not that easy anymore" they look at me nodding "Just try Sarah, look one date won't hurt" Charles says. I look at the text on my phone "I pick you up at 1 then it's a surprise, dress fancy :)" "Well, he is picking me up tomorrow" I say looking back up at them again, they all grin at me I just shake my head getting up to put Ollie in his bed

Later on, I did physical therapy with Arthur, made food, and then helped Laura get ready for her date, by doing her makeup around 7 she and Charles left for the restaurant. I started to make dinner for us, as I was finishing I felt 2 little hands tug on my shorts, and 2 sleepy eyes looked up at me. "What's up buddy, did you have a good nap?" I asked picking him up to set him on my hip he just sleepily nods putting his head on my shoulder "Do you want to help mama finish dinner?" once again he just nods and I put him on the counter

I pick some pasta out to check how well it's done, but before I taste it I start to make a duck face with it, making a mustache of the pasta on top of making Ollie laugh, then I put one end of it into my mouth quickly slurping it up making a funny noise with it, once again Ollie laughs out "Where did it go?" I ask pretending to search for it on my face, I reach over to the tomato sauce and put some on my nose and also reach out to put some on his too, he just busts out laughing, "Now don't we look like Rudolf?" I wiggle my eyebrows "It tastes good mama" he laughs as he wipes it off his nose and then licks it off his hand now making me laugh "No buddy- no come on let's just eat at the table" I laugh, wiping the rest of his and my face quickly making the table for us to eat

After we got dinner, I made Ollie a bubble bath just to make sure we have some more fun playing with boats while he had his bath then we sat down to watch some cartoons till he finally fell asleep. I walked into my bathroom and turned the shower on making sure I have some really hot water and I just stood under it for nearly half an hour

I was so not ready for tomorrow...

Hiii sorry for the late update, I was with family all fucking day, but at least I got to spend some day with my niece so I got inspired to write some bonding stuff today, I hope you guys enjoyed it! Don't forget to leave a vote and comment see ya all tomorrow!!
