Chapter 18

"Who said I was perfectly fine"

The sentence has been repeating in my head nonstop, I lay in my bed my thought running wild inside my head not being able to tone any of them down, I get up to change into some fresh clothes I pull out a shirt and something falls out with it, I kneel down to see the little box. I slowly pull out the gold necklace with a diamond heart on it, I sit back on my heels holding it in my hand, my mind running back to the memory...

"Saraaaah" Pierre jumps into our bed I let out a groan "P, go away it's early" but he doesn't even hear my words he just begins to kiss my neck until I open my eyes and look into his gorgeous mixed-colored eyes and instantly get lost in it. "First it's already 9 am, it's not early, and second no, I have a surprise for you," he says kissing the top of my nose and making me giggle, "And third, do you really want to spend our 2 year anniversary in bed?" he smiles at me "Hmm what if I do?" I ask smirking and flipping us so now I am sitting on top of him and looking down at his beautifully toned muscles, he puts his hands on my thighs smoothly brushing them "As inviting as that sounds, I have to decline" he says "For now just yet" he quickly ads making me chuckle I groan slightly getting off him.

I go to get dressed "Wait" he gets up quickly, pulling me back to the bed and making me sit down, he goes to pull out an OhPolly box from the closet, "I think you could wear this for today" I pull the box in my lap, there was a beautiful baby pink dress in it "Pierre, this is omg thank you," I smile pulling him into a kiss "Get dressed" he smiles. The day was truly completely planned, he took me for breakfast, and lunch, to our favorite places then for dinner to a very fancy but private restaurant, "Okay, I got you one more thing" he says as we reach deserts, "P, you have already given me the perfect day" I smile, feeling guilty as I only got him 1 but very nice watch, "Yeah yeah, but I have one more gift" he gives me a mischievous smile.

He pulls out a beautiful velvet box and puts it in front of me. I slowly open it revealing a beautiful gold necklace with a little diamond heart in the middle "Pierre, this is beautiful" I smile "Turn it around" I take the necklace in my hand looking at the back of the pendant "âme sœur" I slightly tear up looking back up at him "Je Vous Aime" I smile bringing him into a long and deep kiss,

I ran my hand over the pedant, letting out a sigh, how did we go so wrong? He was, and he is still my soulmate, yet we are worlds apart from one other, hundreds of secrets keeping us away. Did he mean what he said in the store, does he really miss me still, love me even? Thoughts run through my head loudly, I gently put the necklace back in its box, slipping it into the back of my drawer, and pulling the shirt over my head "Okay, Art, ready for today's exercises? he nods, and we walk out to the garden and start to do his exercises. "Okay, that's amazing, look you are almost back to full motion" I smile at him brightly, as he lifts the little weight up completely,

"We definitely, need to check in with doctor M" he smiles proudly "We shall call him tomorrow, who knows? You might even be able to participate in Monza" I smile high-fiving him, and we finish up his exercises. I feel my phone buzz in my pocket "What up Muppet?" I smile answering Lando's call instantly hearing him groan at the nickname "I was wondering, I would love to spend some time with you and Ollie before I leave, sooo would you guys like to go to that park near the pier? I think Ollie would like that place, plus we can get food there?" "Okay that sounds pretty nice" I smile "Cool then I pick you guys up in an hour" "Alrighty" 

I go to get both me and Ollie ready. I quickly say bye to everyone and go out, "Landoo" Ollie runs up to him hugging him, "Hey little man" they have made such an amazing bond, altho it wasn't hard both a little child, I go to put Ollie's car seat in the back then strapping him in too. We soon arrive at the park, and I instantly see Ollie's face light up as he sees the playground. We all go out "mama can I go please?" he looks at me with pleading eyes "Yes just don't go too far buddy" I smile he quickly nods before running toward the slides. I sit down on the bench with Lando. 

"Are you ever planning to tell Pierre about him?" he asks after a while into our conversation "a part of me really wants to" I sigh "I ran into him the other day at the store, and he apologized for coming to the house, he almost walked into Laura and Ollie, so I had to distract him, and he said something that just won't leave me alone since then." Lando looks at me with curiosity "I- how was he after our break up?" I ask him "To be honest, he was a little torn up, well he was torn up for months, to be honest," he says quietly "But he was with Emily?" I ask confused "I am not sure, for the first few months she never came to the track" I look at Lando extremely confused "Look I truly don't know what was the deal between them back then" he shrugs, "Well not like it matters anymore.

We walk away to get ice cream for all of us, I walk towards Ollie and I see a blonde girl talking to him "Ollie here" I give him the ice cream and my head turns to the girl next to him. I see her eyes dart from me to Ollie and then again back to me

"Sarah, nice to see you again" Emily greets me with a knowing look in her eyes...

Happy freaking new year guys!! Yes, I am leaving you guys with a cliffhanger for the new year hehe. I hope you guys spent the last day of the year well, and I wish all of you a wonderful, happy, and full of luck next year :)
