Chapter 27

"Yes, she did" I finally say out loud.

I say it out loud but I just stare at him as he is looking at me confused, "Why?" he finally manages to ask me the question that was on his tongue. I just stay standing still, not knowing what I could say to him. "Sarah? What happened at the park that day?" he asks again but I am frozen in my place. "Sarah come on, What is going on?" he asks raising his hands to his face in frustration, "I-I am sorry I have to g-" "No Sarah, come on, why did she lie to me, What is going on?" he asks stepping closer, "Pierre, you should go, practice is starting soon" Charles suddenly appears next to me, but he doesn't move to stare at me, "Sarah" he whispers looking at me wanting answers "Mate, they are looking for you" now Yuki coming inside the room pulling Pierre away from me. "This- This is not over," he says quietly to me before leaving the room. 

I just stand there my whole body still in shock, Charles walks over to me gently smoothing his hand over my arms "You okay?" I just shake my head no "I have to find Lando" I say as we walk out of the room "Come, he went back to the garage" Dani says holding his arm out to me "I'll text you later, I might go back to the hotel" I say to Charles before taking Dani's arm, he nods as they also walk back to their garages. "You alright?" Dani whispers to me at the entrance of the Mclaren garage I shake my head "Look he's just upset at you S, Pierre is just, I know he doesn't mean any of those words he said" he whispers to me "It's not about that Dani, I-I just don't think my secret is going to be a secret for much longer" I sigh. He gives me a hug before we get into the garage. Most people knew me there, after all, I visited Lando a lot, I quickly rush through the garage to Lando's driver's room

"Lan, open the door," I say knocking on his door, after a few minutes he finally lets me in closing the door behind me, we just look at each other for a minute, "What the hell was that back there?" I finally ask. He runs his hands through his hair. "I am sorry S, I-I don't know what came over me. He ended up sitting next to me and we- we just sat in quiet for a while, but he just kept giving me glares than when the meeting was over, we stayed back and Carlos was talking about the weekend and-" he speaks fast "Than he just told me that I am such a backstabber and how he can't believe the things I've been doing lately, and things, things just escalated" he says frustrated. "I am sorry S, I just couldn't take his shit anymore," he says leaning back against the sofa in his room "Lan-" I let out a big sigh "Lan I appreciate you standing up for me, but- but you almost told him," I say looking at him, he looks down at the floor guilty. "And now," I clench my jaw "Now I think there is no way for him to not find it out" I sigh, "I am really sorry S, I didn't mean for this to happen," he says looking at me with his eyes filled with guilt. I shrug letting out another sigh, I don't know what to say to him right now "I appreciate you standing up for me Lan, I just,-You should go the session is starting" I said before walking out.

I quickly walk to the Ferrari garage to find Laura "I-I am gonna go back to the hotel" I say looking at L and Charles "Charlie can you bring L back?" they just nod. I thank them grab my bag make my way out, I open my car "Sarah!" I hear Pierre call my name basically running toward me. "What are you doing? Go back, Pierre you have practice right now!" I say in disbelief, "I don't fucking care" he says stopping in front of me "Please Sarah, I just need to understand this whole shit!" he says frustrated, "You were referring to this situation when you called her a liar in the elevator right?" he asks, I just nod sighing. "Why didn't you tell me? I-" "Would you have believed me?" I ask looking into his eyes.  "I-" "No, you wouldn't have Pierre, I- I don't need to explain anything, just forget it okay?" I don't even wait for his answer I just get in the car driving back to the hotel.

As soon as I get into the room I break down crying in my mom's arms "Chéri" holds me stroking my hair, as I calm down a little I explain the situation to her. "Mama, what am I gonna do?" I ask looking at her laying in her lap "Chéri, it might be time to tell him the truth" she says stroking my hair "He- he is going to hate me even more" I mumble quietly "He doesn't hate you, you to just have to work some, a lot of things to work out." "He will hate me now" I sigh, Ollie runs out of his room "Mama you are back," he says running to me and jumping up in my lap "hey buddy, did you have fun today?" He nods quickly "maméi is funny" he smiles brightly at me I just kiss his head "But I am hungry, mama" "Let's order some food then oki?" I smile picking up the phone to get some food, there is a knock on the door I assume it's Arthur since he left his card in this morning, I order the food quickly as I see Ollie going towards the door and reaches up to open it.

I freeze in my place "You are not Arty" Ollie says looking up at the man standing in the doorway who looking down at the little boy.

He just looks back at me his mouth slightly agape at a loss for words,

Dum-Dum-Dumm!  Well hello hello there :) What a nice cliffhanger again no?
