Scarlett Finney's POV
Next morning,
"Angel! Wake up!"
She smiled as her eyes opened to look at me.
"Good morning!" I whispered and she mouthed the same, still sleepy.
She slowly climbed my lap and hugged me. I caressed her hair and kissed her forehead.
"Good morning, kids!" I heard Katy say as she entered the room and I smiled at her.
But something was wrong. I moved away from Olivia. It felt like my stomach was taking a somersault.
"What's wrong? Do I smell that bad?" Katy looked at my face and then smelled her shirt.
"No... Nothing... I'll be right back..." I said and walked towards my bedroom... After a few seconds, I almost sprinted towards the bathroom.
Why is the bathroom so far?
As soon as I entered, I retched and felt wobbly. Katy held me and calmed me.
"Relax..." She said and stood by my side. After a few minutes, I felt normal and she helped me to get to the bed.
"Do you feel better now?" She asked and I nodded.
Olivia came inside and sat next to me.
"Dude..." Katy screamed, frightening Olivia and me. I slapped her on her arm.
"Why are you shouting? It scared her. Come here, Angel." I said and hugged Olivia.
Katy kneeled down in front of me, asking, "I will not freak out... Calm down, Kay and just let her answer..." She said to herself. I shook my head at her antics.
"What?"
"Isn't your periods late?" She asked and looked at me, focused.
"What? No... Not..." And my thoughts scrambled.
IT IS LATE !
Seeing my confused face, Katy walked out and came back with a kit in her hand.
"Why do you roam around with this?" I asked her but she dragged me inside the bathroom without saying anything. She locked the door outside and waited for me. As the seconds passed, I started to get nervous.
Ufff! Argh!!! Okay! I do need to calm down... Sigh!
I heard Katy and Olivia talking outside.
"What happened to Mom?" Olivia asked.
"Well, she might become a mom!" Katy said and I slapped my forehead.
What will I do with her?
My hands started to sweat and I shut my eyes trying to focus on anything but this.
After a few seconds, I heard Katy knocking the door.
"Sky, are you done? I'm walking inside..." She said.
"Yea..." I said and she got in. "I can't see it, Katy... I am nervous!" I showed her my shivering hands.
"Fuck off..." She grumbled.
"Shhhh! Angel is here..." I shushed her.
"Move..." She said and pushed me aside.
After that for the next few seconds, all I heard was her cussing throughout. I shut the door close and looked at her. She came and hugged me.
"Sky... You are pregnant. Oh my goddd!!!" She said shedding tears and I was numb...
"Angel... Sky..." I faintly heard Chris's voice.
