PART FORTY-ONE

Cole Brandon's POV

It is time to leave... Just two hours left. I sighed and rested in the bed.

Dad walked in along with mom walking behind him.

"Ready?" Mom asked and I nodded. They sat on the either side and kept looking at me. I gulped down and shuttled looking both of them. I gave up and rested my back on the bed.

"Stop staring at me! It is already awkward..." I said and heard them laugh. I grabbed a pillow to hid my face.

"Get up, son." Dad said and I peeked at him. He tapped and I sat, glaring at mom who was trying to hide her laugh.

As we sat down talking about things, the doorbell rang. I went to open the door and to see Sky and Katy.

"What are you two doing here?" I asked in surprise.

"Lunch delivery." Katy said.

Sky slapped her shoulder and they both got in, as I led them in.

"Thought we should accompany you to the airport." Sky said as we sat and I looked at Katy who was roaming, searching something.

"And you... What are you searching? I am right here." I said making her frown.

"Who cares about you? I came to meet your mom and dad." She said and walked to my room as I gestured her they are there.

"Liar!" I muttered and shook my head as Sky looked at me.

"How is my Olive?" I blurted to Sky. She smiled and nodded, "Good! Went to school..."

Katy walked down, followed by my parents. All five of us, sat down having lunch. 

As the time was ticking off, I could feel the surrounding getting weirdly calm.

It was time that I should leave...

"See you, mom. Take care of dad. I'll call you once I reach there." I said as I hugged my mom. She nodded and kissed me.

"Dad..." I just hugged sighing and feeling the warmth.

"You... Better take care of yourself and come back soon." He said and I nodded.

As I turned to look at both of them standing, I shook my head and both laughed.

"Don't miss your flight and stay here..." Katy said and sat in the car. 

"Idiot!" I said with a frown, making parents laugh. I walked towards the car.

"Come on, Cole." Sky called as she went to sit too.

"Yea... Coming." I said and turned to wave at my parents.

As the car moved away, I turned back to see them laughing.

"You both look so happy... At least have some courtesy... Your bestfriend is leaving..." I said as Sky turned to look at me.

"Yea... Yea... We will miss you..." Sky said and Katy muttered something as she drove the car.

"What?" I asked and she shook her head.

I looked out and then at the side mirror to notice a car. I just ignored and turned back.

As we chatted,

Katy said, "Don't worry about your parents. We will go and meet them often. Sky agreed with her and I just shrugged. "Make sure you find a good place and don't just rush in." 

"And... Don't get drunk. We won't be there..." Sky said.

"Damn, I have my cousins there." I defended.
