Christopher Rodriquez' POV

As Martin and I sat in silence for next few minutes, he stood up asking, "Where is Olivia?"

I was brought back as I heard him speak. There were million questions on my mind. I gave a blank look and then realized he asked me about Olivia.

"In her room." I said pointing upstairs.

"I doubt whether she would remember me. It has been two years, I guess. Come with me." He said and stood up to walk to her room.

As we walked inside the room, she turned to look at Martin.

"This is Martin Murphy. Remember him?" I said. She thought and shook her head in denial.

"I'm Martin. Ester's son." He extended his hand. She walked to give him a hug and greet. She didn't even turn towards me.

"How is Ester? I miss her so much."

"She is good, sweetheart. She talks about you so much. She misses you too..." He said but there was no response from Olivia.

"Damn. You have grown up. You look like a princess. Angel, correct Rodriquez?" He said as he look towards me and I saw a small smile spread across her face. It is sad that it is not her bright beaming smile. He was trying to cheer her up and he wasn't succeeding.

"What happened to you?" Martin asked and her face went dull as she pointed towards me.

"Your dad?" He asked and looked at me.

"Sky!" I said hesitantly. "She saw me talking to her." I said to him and he nodded as if he understood. "Angel, I wasn't..." I was about to tell him.

"He is rude to everyone. No one wants to come home and there is no one to talk to me... I am going away if he keeps doing that..." Angel complained to him in broken sentences, but the thing which she conveyed broke my heart.

"You what?" I asked making her stop and look at me. "You are walking over me? That big, you have become? Okay fine. Go! Leave me alone and go." I said and walked out. My anger level shot up. That was the last thing I wanted to hear and at least didn't expect it from Angel.

As I sat in my room, I heard the knock on the door after few minutes. I didn't answer but I heard Olivia barge in. She climbed next to me and sat circling her arms around me.

"I didn't mean it, dad. I'm sorry." I heard her speak.

"It is okay." I said and hugged her back. I didn't want to speak or think about it further. I just want to end the conversation right there. Pondering over that thought, will break or anger me more. She hugged me tight and that anger flew away in seconds.

There was a knock at the door and I saw Martin walk in. I nodded at him and backed from the hug.

"We have some work, Angel. Can we talk later?" I asked. She nodded and left the room.

"You are..." Martin was about to say something and I interrupted, "Back to work, Martin."

He had a grumpy face but still nodded.

"What was with Mr Miller in the morning?" He asked and I gave a surprised look. "It was all over the media."

"He wanted to talk about Addin. That man knew nothing about that bastard." I said as I stood to pick the file and handed it over to him.

"I'm not surprised about it. He wouldn't have done that, if he knew. He would have disowned the moment he knew." He chuckled shaking his head.

"That's what Eric Sir said." I said and huffed.
