Christopher Rodriquez' POV

It felt normal to be back on the routine. Meetings, Conferences, field visits...

But I started to feel a strange void in my heart.

Gina walked in with the Espresso.

"I wanted that badly!" I said as I caught the cup and felt the instant warmth in my hand, give me the energy I needed.

"Which means, there is a problem!" Gina said.

I raised an eyebrow in confusion as to what she was talking about.

"As much as I know, my boss isn't in a professional crisis. His daughter is doing well. All the tie ups are working well. So, any girl problem?"

I didn't know why, but that question just made me think of Sky.

Scarlett Sky.

"No. It is that I haven't had caffeine from the morning."

"I got two cups myself to this room and I saw William get you another." She said, raising an eyebrow.

"I meant... Enough of Caffeine... Now, leave." I said and turned back to the system.

"I caught your face change, Sir. Call her..." Gina said as she left the cabin. I shook my head in disbelief.

May be I should!

I took the phone and had the number in the dial pad.

May be, I shouldn't. I hesitated and kept the phone down.

As I wiped my face, 'Focus, Rodriquez. Focus on work.' I reminded myself and turned to the system.

I walked inside the house. It has been three days since Sky had left.

I had called her couple of times by the lunch and she didn't pick up. So, left to her whether to call me or not.

As I went in, I found Angel sitting in her room. I thought to change first and then talk to her.

"Dad!" She called out on seeing me cross the room.

"Yes! I'm coming." I said and walked inside her room.

"What are we doing this weekend?" I was asked as soon as sat beside her.

"This weekend? I have to ask Gina whether I'm free or not."

"Oh. In that case, I am going with Sky, outside. Is that okay?"

I was totally confused.

"When did you guys plan?"

"I called her." She shrugged.

"Phone?"

"Stephen uncle's phone. I call her every day." She said, grinning.

"Oh. Okay." I said in amusement.

"Yes, you can go." I said and got up. "Did Sky ask anything about me?"

She thought for some time and shook her head in denial.

I was standing at the balcony thinking about Sky and heard the phone ring.

With much anticipation, I took the phone to see, 'GREG DONOVAN'

I sighed and picked up the call, "Yes, Greg!"

"Christopher! Can we meet?" All of sudden, I was dazed and looked at the sunset in front of me.
