Today was the day that you and Giyuu had to see your therapist. You had to drive to her office on the outskirts of your town to see her. When you arrived, you had to wait in the office for a bit; then, you had to go first. You made time to meet your therapist at 1 pm.
You sat in the chair across from your therapist Angelia, she wore rectangular glasses that would make her look stern, but she was a lovely lady.
"y/n....it been a while....about exactly since July...I heard a lot, and I saw the news...though I haven't read it, I am glad you decided to contact me...." Angelica said, looking at her notes.
"Yeah...a lot of stuff has happened," you said, scratching your head on the back.
"So, anything new?" Angelica asked.
"Well, besides the new relationship and what happened, be too honest, be rough for me...I am happy about the new relationship....though...." You said as your hands balled up.
"I feel like I am at fault for Chris....." You continued.
You then explained everything to your therapist, and once in a while, you had to go into more detail. Angelica was very understanding; she wrote some things down and had questions.
"Now that we covered everything, I think I better understand things. Now as you leave, could tell Giyuu that the next." Angelica said.
By the time you came out of the room, it was almost 2 pm. You went outside to the waiting room to see Giyuu sitting. He was dreadful about this, and there was some stuff that he didn't want to open up. Yet he had to go into the room. So he got up from his seat and entered Angelica's room.
"Ah, you must be Giyuu. Please make yourself comfortable, and you can sit anywhere in the room. " Angelica said as Giyuu sat down in the chair.
"Now, I know you aren't from this time or this universe, but I need you to listen to something vital. I will do my best to understand, give you the help you need, and make you feel better. I will also not pressure you; you can take your time to open up, including any regrets or other feelings. However, there will be several things that I will need to understand to have a better understanding of you." Angelica's voice was soft, as though she was speaking to a wounded animal, but her words were fierce but understanding. As well as least Giyuu didn't have to dig up those feelings of regret yet.
"What do you need?" Giyuu asked.
"I need two things from you, your trust and honesty. Anything in this room stays in the room. I keep all of my client's information closed, including y/n." Angelica said.
Giyuu was very hesitant about it, but he would have to try.
"I will try to be honest, but I am unsure if I can...." Giyuu said.
Angelica smiled at Giyuu and adjusted her glasses on her face.
"Do your best. We'll try and keep this first session light, okay? We will talk about you, and I will ask you a few questions about yourself, and we will see what you need to help you. Let's start just by talking. Talk about anything, anything, and I won't judge you." Angelica said.
Giyuu's eyes looked at her with intensity, with a questioning face on his look. The room felt intense for him, and a lot was stored up in him. Even though she was very kind to him, it felt like the world was against him, particularly the mistakes that haunted him and the trauma.
The memories of his mistakes flash, the first being his sister sacrificing herself and the second being Sabito's death—the rest of the others he made, including the most recent one. Being separated and because of that, Y/n's life was threatened, and she could be killed by Chris.
Angelica could see that her client was dealing with a lot and that this might take longer than expected. She knew what he was dealing with and had to be very careful. She has seen people like this before who went to war and came back completely different from their former selves.
Angelica already knew what he was experiencing. He wasn't the first to come into her office or the last one. She had to be very careful and knew this would be a long session.
"Why don't we start on something else..." Angelica suggested.

It was about two hours by the time Angelica and Giyuu came out. By now, it was about 5 pm.
You stood up to see Giyuu. You could see his face and knew he was done for the day.
"Sorry, it took so long. We need to do a rain check for now, but I think it would be better if we do another day to have a session together." Angelica said with some hints in the undertone of her voice of how the session went with a tired look on her face.
You picked up her underlining notes and fully understood what she was saying. You nodded and wrote down the next session dates on your phone. You and Giyuu left her office and were driving home in your car.
You were very hesitant to talk about it, you didn't want to be very privy about the information, but you wanted to know just a little.
"Listen, Angelica has the best intentions for her all her clients. I just want to know how the session went," you asked.
"I rather not go into all details. I think I am better, though, and I am unsure of myself. If I was more honest with myself," Giyuu said.
Luckily you were stuck at a traffic light, and you take a double look at Giyuu because of the statement. You didn't expect to say that.
"Well, I am okay with that; I can see that you are much better from it. I don't think you need to tell me anything else. Besides, I would be breaking several laws by doing that if you told me any more," you said.
Giyuu chuckled at that. You were distracted from the double look that the car behind honked its horn because the traffic light changed. It didn't matter. It was a good distraction. You smiled at it and went back to driving yourself to your home.
Before going home, you made a grocery stop to get some groceries for dinner and headed home. For dinner, you made Angel hair pasta with shrimp and parmesan with white sauce. After dinner, you decide to work on legal stuff, and by the time you are finished, you decide to head to bed. You have become more accustomed to Giyuu sleeping with you, and he no longer needs to ask you. You couldn't care less about it, and it didn't mind that much anymore. You grew accustomed to having him in your bed as well.
You are very content falling asleep with Giyuu. You didn't mind anymore, and he didn't mind either. Both of you were content with each other as you dozed off.
