Days passed, and you couldn't shake off the feeling of uncertainty. You had to make a decision that would change your life forever. Giyuu was waiting for your response, and you knew that he would support whatever choice you made, but you couldn't help but feel the weight of the decision on your shoulders.
You decided to take a walk in the park to clear your head, and as you walked, you saw Rei sitting on a bench, looking at the sky. You approached her and sat beside her. "Hey, Rei, what are you doing here?" you asked.
"Just thinking," Rei replied, still looking at the sky.
"About what?" you asked.
"About you, about Giyuu, about everything that's happening," Rei said, finally turning her gaze to you.
"I know it's a lot to take in, and I'm sorry that it's affecting you too," you said, feeling guilty.
"Don't be sorry. I'm your friend, and I'll always be here for you, no matter what," Rei said, smiling at you.
You felt a wave of gratitude toward Rei, and you hugged her. "Thank you, Rei. You don't know how much that means to me."
After a few moments, you let go of the hug, and Rei looked at you, her expression serious."Y/n, you need to make a decision soon. Giyuu is waiting for your response, and I can tell that it's eating you up inside."
"I know, but I don't know what to do. It's not just about me; it's about the people I care about and the life I've built here," you said, sighing heavily.
"I understand, but you can't let fear hold you back. You have to do what's best for you and your happiness," Rei said, placing a hand on your shoulder.
You thought about what Rei said and realized that she was right. You couldn't continue to let fear control your decisions. Instead, you had to take a chance and follow your heart.
"Thank you, Rei. You're right. I have to do what's best for me and my happiness," you said, feeling determined.
Rei smiled at you, "That's the spirit. Whatever you decide, I'll support you."
You hugged Rei once again, feeling grateful for her friendship. "Thank you, Rei. You have no idea how much your support means to me."
After your conversation with Rei, you felt a sense of clarity. You knew what you had to do. You made a call to Maya, telling her that you were ready to make the decision. You would take the chance and go to the demon slayer world with Giyuu.
Maya informed you that the process Erika is doing would take place at the end of the by the end of the month.
You had come into work and given your letter of resignation to Elza, and she was distraught by that. Maya had to make sure to erase everything that was in the government and had to transfer things to offshore accounts. You spent time with your friends, making memories you would cherish forever.
As you near the end of the month, you have to say goodbye to most of your belongings except for your gym drawstring bag, your katana that you got from Japan, your diary, your phone, and essentials items like your portable solar charger for your phone and mobile hotspot Wi-Fi, some outfits that you could wear.
You had sold most of your belongings and bid farewell to everyone you cared about, including Sky, who cried as you hugged her. But as you hugged Sky, you couldn't help but feel the same emotions. Leaving your world behind was overwhelming, and you knew it would be a long and challenging journey.
You felt saddened leaving everything you built, but you knew that you wanted to be with Giyuu even if it meant never being able to come back. No matter the immeasurable distance or time apart, you always be connected, even if you were not there, and your life experience will be in your heart and will always be linked with your friends.
You took a deep breath and pulled away from Sky. "I'll miss you, Sky."
"I'll miss you too, y/n. But I know you'll be happy with Giyuu," Sky said, wiping away her tears.
You smiled at Sky, feeling grateful for her friendship. "Thank you, Sky. You've been an amazing friend."
As you walked away, you couldn't help but look back, watching as Sky disappeared from your view. It was a bittersweet moment, but you knew you had to move forward.
The day had come; Erika used her magic ability and enchanted ancient magic words, none of which you understood. You felt a sudden surge of energy. You closed your eyes, and when you opened them, you found yourself in a completely different world.
When you opened your eyes, you were in a different world. The air was different, and the sky was a different shade of blue. You looked around, taking in your surroundings. You were in a forest, and you could hear birds chirping in the distance.
You turned around and saw Giyuu standing there, a look of relief on his face. "You made it."
You smiled at him, "I made it."
He took your hand, "Welcome to the demon slayer world."
You looked at him, feeling a sense of excitement and fear. You didn't know what was in store for you, but you knew that with Giyuu by your side, you could face anything.
