You were sitting in the police station in the hallway next to the secured interview room, and it seemed to be forever until Giyuu and Michael's father, the police chief, enter the hallway. You stood up and immediately hugged Giyuu as Michael's father looked at you hugging him. He cleaned his throat, and you turned to hear from Michael's father.

"Well, after interviewing everyone and hearing all the stories from everyone, including you and your boyfriend, I will drop the charges on your boyfriend, given this was self-defense and the fact that Chris was wielding a knife." Michael's father said, looking through all the interview papers and scratching his head.

"What about Chris?" you asked.

"Well...he will need to be interviewed without me being there, but we need to go to a judge for a warrant for his house due to ongoing investigations for the murder of my son. I can't be involved on that side. However, I can involve in this case. Chris will be charged with aggravated assault, brandishing a knife, attempted murder, and several other felonies. He will be held in jail until he is able to pay his bond. Tomorrow you go to the courthouse and get a restraining order to protect you and your boyfriend. This might take a while to settle out, but I got to say, you're damn lucky." Michael's father said, looking directly at you.

"The fact that not only your boyfriend was able to save you. I have to say I watched some of the videos that people at the party gave me, and some were even posted on youtube. You are fortunate, my mouth dropped when seeing the video, and after seeing the video, I had first interviewed you first, then interview your friends, and finally interview your boyfriend." Michael's father said, looking down at his notes and looking back towards you.

"I will have to call you this week, but how about you head home for the night, it's already 1 am, and you look pretty exhausted. I am going to give you a ride home, given how late it is." Michael's father said.

So Michael's father drove you and Giyuu to your apartment. You entered your home and went to your bed immediately. You directly went into your bed along with Giyuu. You didn't mind; both of you were exhausted. You slowly drifted asleep along with Giyuu.

You woke up first and decided to make an omelet, and you had a recipe you took when you went to New york city in the summer to see Maya's new luxury apartment. This was before Giyuu came into the picture. You had to be very quiet, not waking up, Giyuu. You were sipping your coffee and decided to text Rei. You go to your phone to see 30 calls from family and relatives, a lot of tweets from people you didn't know, and Instagram messages from some of your friends. You opened your phone to see who called you.

Your father, Maya, several college friends, and your immediate family called you. Like your aunts, uncles, and cousins. Even your estranged mom called you as well. You were very hesitant about your mother. You decide to email your therapist and ask for an emergency appointment with her. You opened up Twitter to see people you didn't know messaging you about the incident. You saw that party location was trending on Twitter, and your heart sank to the bottom of your stomach. You went to Twitter's trending page to see that it was near the top. You sat down, putting your hand on the side of your face in concern. You decided to lock your Twitter account so that way you could protect yourself. Luckily, your Instagram was already private, so it wasn't that bad, but still, people were judgmental. You closed your phone, and you had to turn it off your cellphone and put your phone on the side of the table.

"I can't believe it....it's trending on Twitter too, that probably means that news media knows," you said.

You looked down at your coffee. Usually, it helps you focus on things, but now it was making you feel nervous. You pour out the coffee from your cup and have tea instead. When you made a pot of tea, Giyuu came out from your room.

"Ah! Good morning," you said as you poured your cup of tea.

"Good morning," Giyuu responded.

"I made extra omelets. You want some?' you asked.

"Sure," Giyuu responded.

After giving the extra omelets to Giyuu, you sat across from him. There was an awkward silence in the air. You had to bring out your computer and look at emails to see if your therapist responded. You looked to see that she did respond, and you read the message.

"Oh, thank goodness she could carve out time for me. I was getting worried there..." you said.

Giyuu looked at you with confusion.

"What happening?" Giyuu asked.

"My therapist, Angelia. Angelia is my therapist. Even though I haven't seen her recently, I was able to contact her, and she was able to squeeze me this week...." You responded.

"What a therapist?" Giyuu asked.

"Oh, I completely forgot to tell you about it. I know that back in the 1900s, it is a taboo subject, but in modern times, it is no longer a taboo subject. You see, today, people go to therapy for various reasons, and it also can different kinds of therapists. The one I see is called a Psychotherapist, known as talk therapy, which is a way to help people with a broad variety of mental illnesses and emotional difficulties. You see, after my ex-boyfriend, I contact Angelia, and she helps me with my difficulties with overcoming Michael. However, I haven't seen her in months because I thought I was now mostly fine...but after what recently happened. I decided to see her again..." you said as you read her email.

Your eyes weren't failing you, and you nearly want to fall out of the chair after reading your therapist's response.

"I can't believe it," you said.

"What is it?" Giyuu asked.

"I told her about the situation and what happened. She wants to see us separately and see the both of us, and Angelica wants to see the both of us together." You said.

"Wait, what?" Giyuu asked.

Giyuu stood up from where he was sitting and went to where you were sitting to see Angelica's email, and he read the email. His eyes weren't fooling him either. He was very hesitant about this. He didn't want to unpack some things, especially with some of the subjects.

"Is there any way I can avoid it?" Giyuu asked, praying to him that he could skip it.

"No, not really. Given what I told her, there isn't any way you can avoid this..." you said, looking at the computer.

"So there no way out of this...." Giyuu said.

He was secretly cursing at himself; there were some old wounds he didn't want to open up. He thought that one regret he had could be buried, but it seems now that one regret was back to haunt him again.  The thing that could keep him up all night long was going to come back at him with full force.

You looked up at him, and you could see his baggage tormenting him. You realized there that he was going to open that baggage up.
