As you walked through the forest with Giyuu, you realized that this was nothing like the world you were used to. The trees were taller, the leaves were greener, and the air was fresher. You couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder.
"Are you okay?" Giyuu asked, noticing your expression.
"I'm just taking it all in," you replied, looking around at your surroundings.
Giyuu must have seen the look of wonder on your face because he chuckled. "It takes some getting used to, doesn't it?"
"Yeah, it does. Everything is so different, but in a good way," you replied, still taking in your surroundings.
Giyuu nodded. "It's a beautiful place, but it can also be dangerous. We have to be careful."
"I know, that is why I brought my katana with me. I know it is not the same as yours because yours was made with a Nirichin blade. My sword is from the real world. Besides, it was a gift from my late grandmother. We got it on a trip to Japan when I was eleven years old," you said as you remembered your grandmother.
Giyuu looked at your katana, nodding in approval. "It's good to have a weapon with you. We'll have to get you a proper one soon, though."
You nodded. You were a bit sad by that news but you understood that your katana blade wasn't the same as his katana.
Suddenly, you heard a rustling in the bushes. You and Giyuu immediately drew your weapons, ready for whatever was ahead.
Out of the bushes emerged a demon with multiple arms and sharp claws. You and Giyuu stood ready, waiting for the demon to make a move. You felt scared and excited at the same time.
Without warning, the demon charged at you. You quickly dodged out of the way, narrowly avoiding getting sliced by its claws.
Giyuu was quick to act, attacking the demon with his sword. He used water breathing eleventh form to cut off the demon's head. The demon had no chance and was quickly killed in less than 5 minutes.
"That was close," Giyuu said.
"Yeah, it was," you replied, feeling relieved.
As you continued walking, you couldn't help but feel on edge. This world was full of danger, and you had to be ready for anything that came your way.Giyuu noticed your unease and placed a hand on your shoulder. "Don't worry, I will protect you."
You looked at him, feeling a sense of comfort from his words."Thank you, Giyuu. I know you will."
"So, I have a question for you, why are you wearing your handmade demon slayer costume from the party?" Giyuu asked.
"I want to make sure that I blend in, even though I am not a member; I want to explain my situation. Besides, I am also not from here. Remember, I am from a different universe. I am going to have to explain myself and my motivations. They will probably seize my drawstring bag until I explain myself..." you said.
"Though I read the entire manga, and I even know some information that nobody else knows about, hopefully, I haven't drastically changed the manga in the outside world. It's a good thing that PDF of it," you said worriedly.
Giyuu looked at you with surprise. "You read the manga?"
You nodded, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Yeah, I'm a big fan. I collected the entire set of the manga before coming to this world, and I decided to reread the entire set one last time before coming here."
Giyuu chuckled, "That's pretty smart. It'll help you blend in and understand our world better."
You smiled, feeling better about your decision to wear your demon slayer costume. Of course, you knew explaining your situation wouldn't be easy, but you were determined to make the best of it.As you both walked through the forest, you couldn't help but notice the beauty of the world around you. Despite the danger lurking around every corner, you felt more and more at peace with each passing moment.
But amidst the beauty, you couldn't shake off the feeling of being lost. This world was completely foreign to you, and you didn't know how you would survive in it. But with Giyuu by your side, you knew that you could face any challenge that came your way.
Suddenly, you heard a rustling in the bushes again. However, this time it wasn't a demon. It was Shinobu who looked generally shocked when she saw Giyuu and you.
"Giyuu, I thought you were dead...you have been missing for nearly almost year and two months. What happened? Also, who that's girl with you? She not part of the demon slayer corps..." Shinobu said, eyeing you suspiciously.
Giyuu explained everything to Shinobu, including your situation and how you ended up in their world. Shinobu listened carefully, still looking a bit skeptical.
"Well, we'll have to take her to the headquarters and explain the situation to Ubuyashiki. We will need to decide what to do with her," Shinobu said, still eyeing you cautiously.
You nodded, feeling slightly nervous about meeting Ubuyashiki and the other hashiras. As you continued walking with Giyuu and Shinobu, you couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and fear. You had no idea what was in store for you, but you knew that with the demon slayer corps by your side, you were ready for anything.
