Playlist song "Cinderella" by Mac Miller
3rd person
"You wanted to take me to a basketball court?" Jayda asked Yoongi as he pulls up to a court on the other side of town.
The other side of town was considered the east side, the same area her parents grew up in. This area was actually very dangerous at this time of night, all you could hear was police sirens. The court looked run down with the white basketball goals a dirty white color and the faded rim had no net anymore. The court barely had lines as they were faded as well.
"Yeah, hurry up and get out before we get robbed" Yoongi said nonchalantly as he turned off his car and grabbed his ball from the backseat.
Jayda followed behind wrapping her arms around herself as the wind picked up a bit, the weather has been quite cold lately since fall had officially arrived and she didn't expect to be outside tonight.
Yoongi noticed her hugging herself to keep warmth as he took off his jacket and handing to her. Jayda gladly took it and slid it on as the smell of Dior Savage engulfed her nostrils as she wanted to bury her head into it to smell the sweet musk but that would be weird to do in front of him.
"Thank you" Jayda said as she zipped up the jacket.
That left Yoongi in his white shirt and black cargo pants and Travis Scott dunks on his feet with the orange basketball in his hands. Jayda couldn't stop staring him as he looked good in his chill streetwear attire.
"You sure you aren't cold?" Jayda asked as he started throwing hoops in the naked goals. Yoongi shook his head and picked up the ball to tuck his gold chain in his shirt.
"I'm good"
Jayda looked around at her surroundings. The court was on a hill and some run down houses were down the hill near the street and also a row of apartments that were identical. On the other side of basketball court was a playground that had some new equipment and then also some old and rusty.
She hasn't been on this side of Atlanta in a long time, honestly Jayda had no memory of coming here but pictures of her standing in front her grandma's old house. Both of her parents grew up on the East side of Atlanta but they made it their mission to move from the area after Jayda was born due to gun violence and it not being a safe area to raise young children. Her father was actually in the streets at the time trying to make money to get them out while her mom was going college in Clayton county.
